About Mansion House The Mansion House is located opposite the Bank of England at Bank Junction. Home and office of the Lord Mayor of the City of London, this unique building was built in the age of Hogarth and is a rare surviving Georgian town palace in central London. It was originally built to enable the Lord Mayor to represent the City in appropriate style; it also acts as a symbol of the City of London as the worlds leading international financial and trading centre. Although the Mansion House has undergone several redevelopments since it was built in 1758, it retains much of its original character. 1 Time Credit per person per tour
Availability Public Tours of Mansion House run on a Tuesday afternoon around twice a month; please ring to check availability and to book tickets. Restrictions Public Tours of Mansion House are not suitable for children under 12 and children below this age will not be admitted using Spice Time Credits.
