Enhancements to BIM Collaboration Format

The document discusses improvements to the BIM Collaboration Format (BCF) between version 1 and the next version. Key improvements include supporting multiple snapshots and viewpoints per topic, associating comments with snapshots, supporting voids through Ifc files, associating additional files with topics through a new DocumentReference element, improving process support through author identification and status clarity, and enhanced visualization controls. A working group with various companies discussed requirements, and the updated BCF schemas provide solutions for these improvements while maintaining backward compatibility.
