This document discusses issues users were having with disappearing dashboards in Oracle Business Intelligence. After opening support tickets that went unresolved for 5 months, the author cleaned installed the system, added test users and groups, and discovered that dashboards would disappear for newly created roles starting with the third role onward. They determined the issue was caused by underscores in the custom role names. Removing the underscores from role names resolved the problem. The key lesson is to carefully document any naming conventions to avoid issues.

Wikipedia:
Ignite is a global event, organized by volunteers, where parIcipants are given ve minutes to speak about their ideas and personal or professional passions, accompanied by 20 slides. Role names documentaIon

Click Create to display the Create Application Role page. You can enter all information at once or you can enter a Role Name, save it, and complete the remaining fields later. Complete the fields as follows: In the General section: Role Name - Enter the name of the Application Role (Optional) Display Name - Enter the display name for the Application Role. (Optional) Description - Enter a description for the Application Role.
