Gods Many Names / Titles

(a gradual revealing of Himself to mankind)

GOD - The Creator, Sustainer and Ruler of the universe (Isaiah 40:27-31); the triune
Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit (I John 5:6-7, Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14) who reveals Himself through the natural world, the Holy Bible (John 1:14), and His Son Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:19). God is infinite in being and character: omnipresent (Jeremiah 23:23-24), all-powerful (Revelation 19:6), perfect in holiness (Leviticus 11:44), and infinite in mercy (Psalm 136), wisdom (Colossians 2:2-3), and truth (Titus 1:2). Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. (Psalm 89:18) For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: (Isaiah 43:3) Last Adam - Adam, the first man created in Gods own image (Genesis 1:26-27). As head of the human race, Adam introduced sin into the world. He represents the lost and dying condition of all unrepentant sinners (Romans 5:12-19, 1 Corinthians 15:22). But Christ, referred to in the N.T. as the Last Adam, offers deliverance from the curse of sin and death (Romans 5:14-19, 1 Corinthians 15:22,45).

Also used to express our sonship with God the Father (Romans 8:15, Galatians 4:6) Alpha and Omega - the Beginning and the Ending / the First and the Last (Revelation 1:8&11)

Faithful and True - Trustworthy / Trustful / Believe / Sure / True / Truth (Revelation 19:11) A New Name? - and I will write upon him my new name. (Revelation 3:12) and he had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. (Revelation 19:12)
