About the Organisation: The North West Fashion Network is a new online networking website which aims to build links between fashion students, graduates and local fashion related companies. We act as a fashion hub in the North West, promoting local fashion companies, job vacancies and upcoming events. Fashion experience is not essential for this role though could be useful. The applicant must be willing to contribute and develop new ideas and be interested in gaining experience in developing a new company. The role will include learning about the general day-to-day running of the company as well as exploring new ideas, developing relationships with clients, market research and developing digital marketing / promotional campaigns. Overall Purpose of the Role (Summary) The North West Fashion Network is looking for a self-motivated individual to contribute to the growth of their new online fashion networking website. Marketing communications and public relations are key elements in the managing the flow of communications between the company and its stakeholders. We are looking for an Intern who can effectively communicate corporate objectives and undertake brand messaging. Detailed Project Brief Successful applicants will be involved in or lead on the following: Social media and digital marketing exploring new platforms and building our current platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.) to create a greater online presence and increase interaction from potential clients Contributing new ideas and concepts and working with the company to these develop ideas Contacting potential clients via e-mail and telephone Market research including; competitor analysis, researching new ways to reach our target audience and building our current database of contacts Attending networking events and workshops Applicants must be proficient using Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
