Research Design & Design adopted The methodology or procedure adopted for the present investigation, in terms of research
design, data collection instruments, samples and techniques of analysis are discussed. These are presented as various heads as given below. Research design is a formal investigation or specification of methods and procedures for acquiring the information needed to store the problem. Research design indicates a plan of action to be carried out in connection with a proposed objective. It provides only a guidance to enable to keep track of actions in order to achieve the goals. Problem of the study is identified and objective is too defined. Research design provides a guideline how data to be collected. The research design is the basic frame work of the research process. Descriptive type of research was adopted in this research study. The study was carried out to find how various factors contribute to the level of stress of the employees. A convenient sampling technique was adopted to collect the samples. In convenience sampling each of the samples can be selected in the ease of access. The data was collected using a questionnaire. Sampling method A sample method is a definite plan for obtaining a sample from a given population. It refers to the techniques/procedures the researcher would adopt in selecting items for the sample.
CONVENIENCE SAMPLING The researcher adopted convenience sampling. It is the non-probability sampling is that sampling procedures does not any basis for estimating the probability that each item in the population has of included in the sample. The researcher selects the people according to their convenience.
Sample Size A sample of 150 Respondents was taken using random sampling. The researcher contacted the executives personally and brief summary of the nature of the study and details in the questionnaire were narrated to them.
Sampling Technique The analysis of the data collected through the questionnaire is done using the following four methods: Simple percentage analysis The researcher used column and chart for the graphical representation.
PERCENTAGE ANALYSIS
In percentage analysis, classification and tabulation of the results from the questionnaire is done first. Then the percentage of respondents responds for each question in the questionnaire is found. Then these results are shown by the use of diagram. After the analysis the results are interpreted. Simple Percentage Method = No. of Respondents / Sample Size * 100
