Schools of today differ from those of the past. Students are rude to teachers, dont pay attention in class and arent disciplined. Outside the classroom there is bullying, drug pushing and vandalism. Lets take a look at some of the reasons behind this anti-social behaviour. Teachers are often blamed for students behaviour but we must remember that their hands have been tied by laws and frequent inspections. They are no longer able to punish students or pass any negative comments. This means students can behave badly knowing there wont be any consequences to bear. Parents and guardians are responsible for their childrens manners. I believe children from broken homes or the ones who arent given adequate encouragement or support are more likely to exhibit anti-social tendencies. Looking at society as a whole, the value systems have changed as have attitudes towards education. As the old school system, dominated by respect and discipline cannot be brought back, other alternatives can be examined. Harsher forms of punishment like longer periods of expulsion for bullies and attacks against minority groups could be imposed. Teachers should be given more power in classrooms and students with discipline problems could be sent to hospitals and old age homes to carry out projects or asked to repair damaged school property. To conclude, some schools, particularly inner city ones have to deal with extreme situations like gangs, drugs, vandalism and anti-social behaviour in general. This stems from an unstable home environment and lack of teachers disciplinary powers. Our modern, humane society favours integration, inclusion etc as opposed to punishment, so some type of community service might be ideal to combat this behaviour. The idea of having a single career is becoming an old fashioned one. The new fashion will be to have several careers or ways of earning money and further education will be something that continues throughout life.
In the past it was common to hear of people working in the same company all their lives and being occupied in the same career. This demonstrated stability and loyalty which were qualities that were highly valued. Times have changed as have attitudes towards work and an individuals needs. Today employers are happy to hire staff that have had varied careers as this shows extensive experience and personal growth. The market has become flexible and it is now possible for people to have more than one job and to change their career choice. Opportunities such as flexi time, part-time work, unpaid leave etc now exist which make it possible for people to work and study at the same time. It is no longer frowned upon for people to return to the classroom at any age. As resources are becoming scarce and competition fierce, workers need to keep up with any changes in their field. Therefore seminars, courses, further qualifications etc are always necessary. Our society demands that we adapt to the working environment. This means we need more than one way to earn a living, in a world that has become expensive and difficult to live in. It is more of a necessity than a fashion to have several careers. Students obtain degrees young and are able to change their choice if they arent able to find work in their selected field. Learning is life-long and ensures a person keeps up with the times.

Today, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
We are bombarded by advertisements on a daily basis whether they are on television, billboards, on the internet, on the radio or printed media. Bright colours, catchy tunes, celebrities, clever or funny adverts catch our attention and often make us want to purchase products that we dont really need. This is what is known as the power of advertising. Those who believe in the power of advertising say it leads to the high sales of popular consumer goods. Rather than informing consumers about new products and services, the role of advertising has become to convince consumers to buy products they dont really need. Commercials of today are blurring the line between needs and wants by creating desire for a product. Consumers are buying into an image. Famous stars or attractive people are often used to advertise products and make people believe they can become like them if they use a product.

On the other hand, some people question the true power of advertising. As there are so many adverts currently being shown, consumers stop paying attention to them. Furthermore, there are other factors involved when making a choice about what products to buy. Consumers have the ability to make their own choices depending on their finances. Even if a product appeals to a consumer through an advert it may be beyond a shoppers budget. Similarly a consumer may spend on a product due to its quality or value for money. To sum up, although companies spend vast amounts on advertising to boost their sales and some commercials are convincing enough to lead to a sale, I believe consumers are their own masters when it comes to spending. They take into account their household income and their needs.

Successful sports professionals can earn a great deal more money than people in other important professions. Some people think this is fully justified while others think it is unfair. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

The media often announces the high amounts successful sports professionals, in particular football, basketball and tennis players receive from their respective clubs. Millions of dollars are also spent on buying players from other teams. Humble occupations like those of teachers, social workers, counselors and caregivers on the other hand dont pay that much, even though they have a lot to offer to society. Managers, trainers, sports professionals and sports fans might think that those taking part in sports deserve to receive these inflated salaries. Playing a sport professionally requires difficult training, discipline, skill and personal sacrifice. There is plenty of competition in sports so players keep pushing themselves to the limits. We must not forget that a wellknown professional can bring high earnings to a club from the sale of season tickets and in the form of advertising. Sports personalities keep fans interested in athletics. On the other hand, the long working hours, patience and dedication of those in the caring services are not rewarded enough. These people play an important role in education, nurturing and advising citizens. However, their valuable contribution cant be measured like the figures generated by sports professionals. Their spiritual input is usually only noticeable over a long period of time. Im not keen on sports so my point of view is that the earnings of sports professionals are too high. I think that the spiritual contribution of important occupations is undervalued. We live in a society where visibility and profits reign and since it is the successful sportspeople who generate money they are deemed worthy of receiving it too.

Firstly, Space centers are utmost important for society in terms of research, knowledge or technology. There is dr past as Now we have various technologies that help us in daily life Such as mobile phones,Atms,internet and so o satellite systems set by these research centers it help us in a big way . Even people can know about weather castin satellite systems only.

On the other hands, People that are starving for their basic needs of life. It leads to increase poverty. For example Number of people that dont have jobs, house and food even because they are illiterate .People dont have money it can cause of poorness so here government should spent on this kind people .

Moreover, I think both sides are interrelated if Needy people would have money then they can use all new techno be beneficial where as Technologies are necessary for coming generation in terms of leading easy going life. To conclude, I am agree equally with both of views which have been discuss above in the essay .Rather I would money on research actives is needed then used up money on needy people is essential as well.

This is how I'd write the introduction; Today, many rich nations spend lots of money on building space centers that help them conduct many importan However, while some people support these efforts, others believe that it is a waste of resources and money. The money should be spent on needy people who cannot meet their main three meals. In my view, I think both these validity and therefore it is important to have a balance between them.
