ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar (A Central) University, Lucknow is one of the youngest central University in the country. The jurisdiction of this residential University is over the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. The campus Vidya Vihar is located off Rae bareilly Road, about 10 km. south of the Charbagh Railway Station, Lucknow.
ABOUT THE LUSCON-2013
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar (A Central) University, Lucknow is organizing LUCKNOW SCIENCE CONGRESS (LUSCON-2013) in collaboration with different academic and research institutes of Lucknow. It will bring together researchers from different parts of the country and will provide a platform for sharing recent developments in the field of Science. The purpose of this congress is to provide a solution based forum and to exchange information regarding research activities and plans for better tomorrow. The congress aims to bring together academicians, scientist, engineers, industry researchers, research scholars and above all the policy makers to exchange and share their experiences in the field and bring out a consensus to formulate the guidance in this area and to formulate follow-up actions, identifying pilot activities to test innovative approaches.
OBJECTIVES
The LUCKNOW SCIENCE CONGRESS (LUSCON-2013) has a great significance to the society enabling the scientist and researchers of different discipline to carry out fundamental and applied research. The objective of the LUSCON-2013 is: To portray the picture of exact scenario of science among students and researchers. To discuss way and means for the developing scientific temperament. To identify the actions for Science-Technology-Innovation. Drive the process of building the next generation of young scientist by creating a platform for them to present their research and interact with experienced scientists. To address the issues of community and provide scientific solutions. To develop translational research interface with industry and society.
SECTIONAL PROGRAMME
Each sections will conduct the following events at their respective venue include following. Plenary Lectures Oral Presentations Poster presentations by the participating research scholars. Scholars may be advised to make a five minutes presentation for their respective poster to the evaluators.
CALL FOR ORAL PAPER/POSTER PRESENTATION
Abstract are invited for oral/poster presentation for the congress. The reviewing committee will make the final decision regarding selection of Oral/poster presentation. The Abstract/Poster in proper format should reach to the Organizing Secretary latest by 5th March, 2013. Note: Only one abstract as presenting author is permitted.
PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION
Only the presenting author is allowed to submit abstract for oral/poster presentation. Registration form can be downloaded from the BBAU website [Link] All registered participants will be provided with a delegate kit, working lunch, snacks and tea. No accommodation/conveyance will be provided by the organizers. The outstation delegates will have to make their own arrangement. The registration form, a hard copy of abstract along with the registration fee in the form of Demand draft drawn in favor of LUSCON 2013 payable at Canara Bank, BBAU, Lucknow should be reach to Dr. V.S. Participation in Lucknow Science Congress (LUSCON-2013) is open to all scientists, person from industry, Faculty Members and Research Scholars. Format of the abstract for oral/poster presentations are given below. Title: BOLD UPPER CASE Presenting Author underlined

Text Body of Abstract (Limit 200 word) Should cover following. Body background/ Importance of research topic (very brief): An Introductory description of the project and /or significance of the research area. Purpose/hypothesis (Thesis or statement of the problem) An introductory statement (thesis) explaining the reason for the research, or a statement of the problem or hypothesis. Procedures/Data/Observations: Summary of procedure, emphasizing key points or steps, and the data obtained. Conclusion/application: What was learned about the hypothesis and what it means to the world. The section to which the abstract belong must be clearly indicated as header at the top right corner of the abstract. E-mail of the presenting author must be clearly given in the abstract. The acceptance & information whether oral or poster presentation will be communicated to the corresponding author through e-mail.
PREPARATION OF POSTER
The space available for each poster will be 3x4 feet. Each poster would be allotted an identification number which would be mounted on the top of the board by the organizers. Top sections of the poster should indicate the title, author and their affiliation. The contents of the poster may be divided into: Keywords, Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Conclusions. The poster should be display between 2.30 PM and 4.30 PM on 21st March 2013. The authors are expected to be present for evaluation/public interaction. The best poster presentation award will be given for poster session only.
