Differences between: Human resource management set of individuals who make up the workforce of an organization, business sector or economy activities to achieve its goals. Responsible for Management function such as planning, organizing, actuating and controlling Personalia Management Responsible for functional function such as procurement, development, maintenance and integration People Management Responsible in soft sklill area of managing workforce. Such as maintaining workforce relationship team work and motivation. This is an improvement of human resource management to face the increase of competition in globalization era.

"Human capital" is sometimes used synonymously with human resources, although human capital typically refers to a more narrow view; i.e., the knowledge the individuals embody and can contribute to an organization. Likewise, other terms sometimes used include "manpower", "talent", "labor", and simply "people". The professional discipline and business function that oversees an organization's human resources is called human resource management (HRM, or simply HR).

Definition of People Management

Management study guide The second definition of HRM encompasses the management of people in organizations from a macro perspective : managing people in the form of a collective relationship between management and employees. (This approach focuses on the objectives and outcomes of the HRM function.) to put it in one sentence, personnel management is essentially workforce centered whereas human resource management is resource centered. The key difference is HRM in recent times is about fulfilling management objectives of providing and deploying people and a greater emphasis on planning, monitoring and control. it is all about people in organizations. In the 21st century organizations, the HR manager or the people manager is no longer seen as someone who takes care of the activities described in the traditional way. In fact, most organizations have different departments dealing with Staffing, Payroll, and Retention etc. Instead, the HR manager is responsible for managing employee expectations vis--vis the management objectives and reconciling both to ensure employee fulfillment and realization of management objectives.
