INTRODUCTION OF SPEAKER MUSICAL SELECTION
Evangelist Lillie Reed
Our speaker is Evangelist Lillie L. Reed. Evangelist Reed was born in Temple, Oklahoma to Marcus N. West and Jerlene J. (Lee) West. She gave her life to the Lord in 1971. She hungered for the Word of God and in 1973 the LORD called her to preach His Word. She's a license and ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is the wife of Chaplain (LTC) Harry R. Reed Jr. She is the mother of six children, precious gifts from God, three boys and three girls, all grown and gone. She is also the grandmother of six grandchildren. Evangelist Reed attended Oral Roberts University with her husband as he prepared for the Chaplaincy in the United States Army. The LORD has blessed Evangelist Reed and her two sisters to record two Gospel albums, under the name, "The West Sisters". They traveled to many different places conducting God's business in songs, concerts, and revivals. They also took their ministry to several prisons. Evangelist Reed and her husband also had the opportunity to go to Ghana West Africa in 1990 on a mission trip with a team from Oral Roberts University for three weeks. Evangelist Reed loves the LORD and has committed her life entirely to Him and the work of His ministry. She has also spoken at many women's conferences and women's retreats. She has BA degree, Born Again, she also has a PhD, she knows how to Pray Heaven Down thats why she majored in Kneeology. She loves to pray and intercede on the behalf of God's people. She and her husband, Chaplain Harry R. Reed, Jr. resides in Elgin, South
