Cancellation Policy
You may mail or phone in your class registration. Your payment in full is your registration for
class. There are no refunds for any reason on classes but a store credit will be issued if you
cancel seven (7) days in advance. We will now be cancelling any class that does not have a
minimum of four (4) students enrolled seven (7) days prior to the first class.
 BEGINNER SERIES

If you are not sure how to get started making a quilt we would love to show you how.
Each class will be three sessions with class one concentrating on basic cutting skills.
Learn to use your rotary cutter safely. The rail fence class uses strip piecing methods
and is a great introduction to quilting. The nine patch class will expand your cutting and
piecing skills as you create blocks in different sizes. We provide sewing machines for
classroom use but some sewing is done at home.

MACHINE QUILTING
WALKING FOOT TECHNIQUES

Many designs can be beautifully quilted using your walking foot for
straight lines or gentle curves. You will work on small samples so you will
have them for a reference at home. Roni will discuss needles, threads,
battings and set up for your machine. Let us help you get those tops
quilted. You can do it! Text required.

DOODLING ALONG

Free motion quilting will not be an intimidating venture once you take this
class. Roni will walk you through the preparation of your quilt and your
machine set-up. You will work on mini quilts which become your reference
pieces for future work. You are welcome to use our machines or bring your
own. You will need a darning foot if you do. Text required.

 POCK-A-BOOK-KIT
Embellish this ready made small felted bag with
some cute wool flowers and beads. Stitch or glue in
place and add a variety of hand embroidery stitches
to finish you creation. Your kit contains the bag,
mixed beads, yarns, felt beads and felt pieces. Try
some new techniques as you make this fun little bag.

SNOWBALL QUILT

This time of year our favorite

snowballs are made of fabric.
(They're nice and warm!) The
snowball block is simple to make
and is a great beginner quilt. You
can make a large block with a
focus print or use some pretty
florals. Many variations can be
chosen. Pattern included in class
fee.

DOUBLE IRISH CHAIN

The Irish Chain pattern consists of two
different blocks that when alternated form a
secondary design. The Double Irish Chain is
made up of a five-patch block of squares and a
second block with one square in each corner. A
Double Irish Chain generally uses three
fabrics. Strip piecing makes this quilt go
together with ease.

 SATURDAY POTLUCK

This class continues to be very popular and we would love to have you join!
We cut kits for the project that include most of the fabric you need. Doors
open at 9:00 so you can see the quilt and decide if you would like to stay for
class. You'll have time to purchase any additional fabric you may need and
after a short demo (and a snack) you can cut and sew.
The cost of the kit will vary with the project but will be discounted for those
who stay for class.

THE SELVAGE QUILT
Save those selvages! You know-those ends of
your fabric with the designers name and those
cute colored dots. We will make some blocks
in class that can be a small table topper or if
you are really ambitious you can make an
entire quilt! This is a great stress reliever and
lots of fun. A great way to meet people that
share our passion-FABRIC!

Get to know the basics of your Bernina
sewing machine as you make a useful
zippered bag perfect for organizing or storing
scissors and rotary cutters. Become familiar
with the features and functions of your
machine and learn to use the presser feet
included with it. You'll also try a variety of
additional presser feet that will enhance your
sewing experience. All materials will be
included in your class fee. You will receive a
list of presser feet to bring if you have them.

CHARM SQUARE PILLOWCASE

We are hooked on charm squares! We have cut five inch squares of our
favorite fabric collections and packaged them in groups of forty
squares per pak. There are many simple patterns available for purchase
along with your squares. The quilts are all on display along with the
fabric paks. Come join us for a quilt show and make a pillowcase
using your favorite group. All levels welcome. Class fee includes one
fabric pak and pillowcase pattern. You will need to purchase additional
fabric to complete the project

JUST TOO EASY

Welcome to the wonderful world of strip
tubing! This technique has been around for
years and now it's super simple to create these
quilts using the Strip Tube Ruler. The most
difficult part is not that difficult! It's just a
little different….You have to make a tube.
We'll show you how it's done in class as you
make a nice size throw. Text and ruler
required.
