ACT 1 – Confusion & Self-Doubt

First Scene: School

Actor: Tresha(College student)

Tresha: Why am I like this?
maintindihan kahit isa.( Nakatingin sa ceilings or basta kinakausap Sarili)

Tresha: Another day, another mess. Good job, self.(Nakangiti pero halatang pilit.)

Scene 2: She looks at herself in the mirror.

Tresha:So sino ka ngayon?(habang nakatingin sa reflection)

The strong one?
The cheerful one?
The quiet one?
Or the version who has absolutely no idea what she’s doing with her life?
(Laughs awkwardly then nagstop tumawa tumingin na parang matamlay something like
that)

Nagooverthink- voiceover
Voice:You should have direction by now. Everyone else seems to know what they want.
Ikaw? Ano na naman yan? Puro what if, puro takot.

Voice:You’re not enough. You never have been

Tresha:(Covers her ears even if the voices are just inside her head and sge close her
eyes shut)

Tresha:Stop. Please… just stop. (Silence. She breathes shakily.)

After some time….

Tresha:Why are there so many voices in my head? Why can’t I just think straight?
(whisper to herself)

Scene 3: trying to study/ study table/lamesa

(Books open, laptop on) pero Wala suang ginagawa parang nakatitig lang ba
Tresha: (bumuntong hininga)
Come on. Focus. One task at a time that’s what everyone says.”
(Still staring blankly at the screen.)

Voices again: You can’t fail. Not now. People expect something from you. You can’t
disappoint them

Tresha: (whisper) But what if I don’t even know what I want?

What if I don’t even know who I am?

Scene 4: room (parang palakad lakad Sya here, anxious Sya ganun)

Tresha: Why do I have so many versions of myself but none of them feel real?
Who is the real me? About my choices, my future, my identity…
about everything.

Umupo sa upuan or sahig, look exhausted.

Tresha:I just want clarity even a little because right now

I’m completely lost.

End

ACT 2 — THE SPIRITUAL SELF

Scene 1: School

Jhaira sits on the floor, hugging her knees look drained.)

Jhaira: hindi Naman ako nageexpect na may magbabago ngayong araw but maybe I
needed something outside myself because inside everything just feels empty.
(She sighs, staring at the window/wall.)

*Biglang may nagtext

Jhaira checks her phone, mukhang hindi interesado.

It’s a message from her sister, someone na mas nakakatanda sakanya, gentle, sweet.

Text message: I don’t know what you’re going through right now, but remember this,
Sometimes we don’t need answers we just need to rest and breathe.
(Jhaira reads it twice.)(parang sinisink in pa nya yung text)

Scene 2: outside walking

*Park or something na may bench or parang tambayan lang sa labas

Jhaira: Minsan nakakalimutan ko kung gaano kalaki ang mundo and how small my
room is compared to everything else.

(sits on a bench/or any na pwede maupuan sa labas, close her eyes na para bang
dinadama nya yung hangin sa kanyang paligid)

*Biglang dadating yung kaibigan nya

(Jhaira laughs weakly)

Jhaira: That obvious?

Justean: It’s okay. We all drown in our thoughts sometimes.

But have you tried listening to the silence instead?

(Jhaira is confused.)

Jhaira: Silence? I don’t think I’ve had that in a long time.

Justean: Then maybe it’s time to reconnect not with the world but with yourself.
The deeper part of you.

(Jhaira look at her friend, na parang hindi sigurado)

Scene 3: May parang notebook/book ibibigay yung friend nya here

Justeanito libro/notebook whenever your thoughts fight each other,

try grounding yourself write, pray, meditate. Whatever helps you remember that you are
more than your confusion.
(Jhaira hesitates holding the book)

Jhaira: I don't know if may dapat ba akong paniwalaan ngayon.

But maybe believing isn’t the point maybe it’s the trying.

(She opens the notebook and writes slowly):

What do I want?
What do I fear?
What do I hope for?
(Her hands trembles)

Jhaira:For a moment everything felt still like the world was telling me you can start
(While closing her eyes feeling the air.)

Something that can guide me if I’m willing to listen and if I'm willing to try again.
(Whisper to herself)

End

Act 3 — MENTAL HEALTH

Scene 1: parang nasa lamesa or parang library ganun

CG: You said you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, tell me what that actually feels like.

Even explaining this makes
me sound dramatic bakit ba ako ganito??

CG: When did it start getting this heavy?

Justean: Recently, but I just kept pretending I was fine.

That if I ignored the thoughts long enough, baka kusa nalang mawala

Justean: That I’m not doing enough that everyone else is moving forward,
and I’m still stuck at the starting line na kahit Anong Gawin ko parang walang
nangyayari. And I hate admitting that because it feels pathetic like I should be stronger
by now.

CG: That sounds really exhausting.

Justean:( almost laughs but it comes out tired)

Try living with it every day, I’m so tired of myself, I’m tired of being tired.

CG: What do you usually do when the thoughts get that loud?

Justean:(tumingala na para bang may inaalala Sya)

I shut down,I isolate, sometimes I just disappear for a while.
No messages. No calls. No one but just me and the thoughts fighting in my head.
And I always lose.

CG:(actor name) that’s not weakness, that’s survival. It’s what people do when they’re
feel overwhelmed.

Justean:Then why does it feel like I’m failing at the basics? Everyone else seems so
stable, confident functional. It feels like I’m the only one falling apart over simple things.
(Looking down)

CG:( leans forward)

You’re looking at everyone else’s best moments and comparing them to your messy
[Link]’s not fair to you(name ng actor).

Justean: I know,I just don’t know how to stop thinking like that.
(Tumingin sa kaibigan nya)
How do you silence a voice that sounds like your own?

CG: You don’t silence it, You need to overcome it.

You look at the fear directly and say,
“Where is the evidence?” Not only the emotion but the evidence.

Justean: Okay uhmm (buntong hininga)

The thought is: “I’m not enough.” The words feel heavy every time I say them.

CG: And the evidence?

(Justean takes a long breath, thinking harder than expected.)

Justean:I survived a lot more than I talk about I kept going even when I wanted to
disappear I showed up today even though I almost didn’t. Hindi ko usually napapansin
na nagagawa ko rin pala yun.

CG: Then that’s evidence not feelings.

Justean: (mahinang boses)

So I’m not failing?

CG:No. You’re coping the best way you know how. You’re learning new ways to fight
back and you’re not doing it alone anymore.

(Justean eyes water not dramatic, teary eyes ba.)

Justean :(internal monologue)

Maybe I’m not hopeless, maybe the problem isn’t that I’m weak but that I’ve been trying
to fight everything alone.

CG: When your thoughts start spinning out of control

Pause, Breathe, Name the fear, and then answer it with truth, with something real, with
something that belongs to you.

Justean: And what if I can’t do it?

CG: Then you try again, and again, and again, Until the fear understands
it no longer decides the ending

(Justean nods slowly, letting it's breath find its rhythm again.)

Justean: (whispering)
I think I finally understand It’s not about eliminating the thoughts.
It’s about learning not to obey them.

CG: (gentle smile)

Exactly.

Justean :(internal monologue)

For the first time in a long time,I don’t feel swallowed by the noise. It’s still there
but I’m learning how to stand in it without sinking.
End

ACT 4 — The Political Self

Scene 1: School(community service)

Isang simpleng barangay.

(Jillian stands holding a clipboard, watching the busy scene with a mix of fear and quiet

I used to hate crowds. Even small group work made me nervous. I always felt like who
am I to help in something like this? But now why does it feel like I actually belong here?

Jillian:(smiling, gentle)
Opo, sige po. Sandali lang, kukuha po ako.

(She heads quickly toward the supply table.)

inaayos kunyari)

Jillian hands out water/foods, organizes boxes, even play with the children. Sweat trails
down her forehead, but her smile never fades.

Volunteer Leader, Therence :(look surprised)

’to tungkol sa akin tungkol ’to sa kanila.

Therence nods, a proud, approving smile forming on his face.

Scene 3: Open area

(May mga batang lalapit sakanya dito)

Kids surround jillian, tugging her shirt.

Bata: Ate, ate turuan mo kami mag drawing ulit!

Jillian:(laughs)

(Then the kids run off cheerfully.)

Jillian:(voice over parang thoughts lang nya to ulit)

And that trust
It’s changing me.

Scene 4: table/meeting place

A community meeting begins. Therence nudges jillian.

Kaya mo

‘yan.

Jillian: (eyes widen)

Ha? Ako? In front of everyone?

Therence:(smiling)
Yes. You’ve grown so much. It’s time they hear your voice.

(People sit on chairs all eyes on her.)

Jillian takes a shaky breath.

Jillian:Good afternoon po. Ako po si jillian, isa sa mga volunteers and I want to share
some updates but also something personal.

(People listen in curiously.)

Jillian:Alam ko pong maliit lang ‘to , water, food packs, school kits(eme lang to kunyari
lang na meron sa binigay hehehehe)
but these things matter and what matters even more is that we show up for each other.

(She steadies herself.)

Jillian:Dati po, I didn’t think I could do this takot akong magkamali takot akong mapahiya
takot akong hindi tanggapin.

(Deep breath.)

Jillian:Pero serving here taught me this, Community service is not about being perfect.
It’s about being present showing up with your heart, kahit maliit lang ang kaya mo.

(People nod, some smile.)

Jillian:And today I want to commit not just as a volunteer but as someone who believes
every Filipino community deserves clean water, education, and dignity hindi lang ‘to
charity this is justice and this is our responsibility.
(Bow and thank you)

(And nagpalakpakan ang mga tao)

(Therence approaches, looking proud.)

Therence: Sabi ko sa’yo. You’re stronger than you think.

Jillian:(smiles tearfully)

Jona (voice over ulit, final):

I used to think my hands were made for hiding. Pero ngayon they’re finally doing
something that matters and I’m never letting them go back to being small.
Ending:Realization of Balanced Identity

Scene 1:
Jhaira sits on the grass, her notebook open on her lap.
The wind is calm for once, her mind matches it.

Jhaira (inner thoughts/voiceover):

My doubts don’t control me anymore.
I know who I am becoming slowly.

(She smiles softly, closes her notebook (yung bigay ng friend niya to dun sa spiritual
act), and stands.

Scene 2:
Justean stands in front of the mirror wala na yung panic, wala yung panginginig just
calm breathing.

A sticky note on the mirror reads: “You’re allowed to grow.”

Justean (thoughts/voice over):

Hindi ako perfect pero umabot ako dito na-survive ko ‘yung gulo sa isip ko.
And today, pinili ko ‘yung sarili ko fully.

He takes off an old crumpled note that says “Not enough” he tosses it in the trash
and smiles maliit, pero totoo.

Scene 3:
Jillian collects the last boxes/basta gamit sa volunteer, her hands steady, her posture

Jillian (thoughts/voice over):

I thought I was too small to make change pero ngayon I know my voice matters.
My growth isn’t just for me it’s for others too.

She looks at the sky, breathes deeply, and steps forward with confidence.
