Reflection

Esteban Schmitt

Coming into this class, I already had a lot of experience using Microsoft programs and did not think I

could learn much more. I was wrong. I learned lots about the different things word and PowerPoint

were capable of that I had never explored, as well as learning about excel, which I had only ever used

once in middle school. I also learned a lot about time management through taking this course online as

it is very fast paced and forced me to create a schedule I could follow. In the future, I plan on entering

the computer science field as a machine learning engineer and using Excel will be very helpful.

My favorite assignment was the final project. This project allowed me to compile all of what I knew

about ethics in the software engineering industry into one PowerPoint. I learned a lot about guidelines

that companies must follow and how companies find ways to circumvent certain guidelines. I would

have liked to learn more about using Excel and how to use some of the other functions it provides as I

believe they would prove to be useful to me in the future.
