Declaration of GenAI Use
If any Generative AI tool (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) was used at any stage of preparing this
assignment, state clearly below exactly what it was used for (e.g., grammar and language check, formatting the
document, brainstorming structure). GenAI must NOT be used to generate the personal examples, theory
application, or final judgments required in the questions — doing so defeats the purpose of the assignment and may
be checked during evaluation.
Tool Used (if any) Purpose of Use Section(s) Where Used
________________ ________________________________ ________________
________________ ________________________________ ________________
If no GenAI tool was used, write “Not Applicable” in the table above.
Instructions
• Group size: This assignment must be completed in groups of exactly 6 students. All 6 names must
be listed on the front page, along with roll numbers/IDs and signatures.
• Answer in your own words: Do not copy definitions verbatim from the textbook, notes, or the
internet. Wherever an example is asked for, use a clear, correctly applied example (it may be a
standard textbook example, but must be explained in your own words).
• Collaborative work: All 6 group members must contribute to discussing and finalizing the answers
together.
• GenAI disclosure is mandatory: If any Generative AI tool was used anywhere in preparing this
document for grammar checking, formatting, rephrasing, structuring, or any other purpose this must
be declared on the front page, specifying exactly what it was used for and where. Non-disclosure of
GenAI use, if detected, will result in the assignment being marked zero.
• What GenAI must not be used for: GenAI tools must not be used to generate the final written
answers to Questions 1–2. These must reflect the group’s own understanding, in the group’s own
words.
• Formatting: Answer each under its own heading in the order given. Submit as a single Word
(.docx) or PDF file, with the completed front page as the first page.
• Evaluation: Marks will be awarded for correct application of theory to the example (not just
definitions), depth of analysis, and the final justification/judgment asked for in each question.
Marking breakdown is indicated against each sub-part below.
