What I Learned
The past three months have been one of the most valuable learning experiences in my journey
as a Technical Developer. Before joining the organization, my experience was mainly focused
on Python, SQL, Machine Learning, and Data Science projects. These projects gave me a
strong foundation in programming, database management, and problem-solving, but I had
very little exposure to how software applications are developed and maintained in a
professional environment. During this learning period, I gained practical knowledge of how
modern software is built by understanding business requirements, analyzing existing
applications, planning implementations, selecting suitable technologies, testing solutions,
debugging issues, and documenting the work. This experience completely changed my
perspective on software engineering. Instead of seeing development as just writing code, I
began to understand the importance of software architecture, scalability, maintainability,
collaboration, and delivering solutions that solve real business problems. Working on
different tasks also helped me realize that every technology has its own purpose and that
building a successful application depends on how effectively these technologies are
connected.
I explored multiple areas of software development instead of concentrating on a single
technology. One of the major areas I learned was backend development using [Link] and
[Link], where I understood how client requests are processed, business logic is executed,
databases are connected, and responses are returned to the frontend. Along with backend
development, I gained practical experience working with PostgreSQL and Supabase. Earlier,
my database knowledge was mostly limited to writing SQL queries, but during this period I
learned how relational databases are designed for real-world applications, how tables are
connected using relationships, and how proper schema design improves data consistency and
application performance. I also learned CRUD operations, authentication, Row Level
Security (RLS), and cloud database management using Supabase. On the frontend side, I
explored React, [Link], TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, which helped me understand how
modern user interfaces are developed using reusable components and dynamic rendering.
More importantly, I learned how frontend and backend technologies work together as a
complete system instead of treating them as separate parts of an application.
Another important area of learning was API integration and problem-solving. While
connecting frontend and backend modules, I understood how applications communicate using
REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON payloads. I learned how to send requests, process
responses, validate data, and handle errors effectively while integrating different services. At
the same time, my approach to debugging also improved significantly. Earlier, whenever I
encountered an issue, I mainly searched for direct solutions online. Gradually, I started
analyzing error messages, understanding the application flow, identifying the root cause, and
testing different approaches before implementing a solution. This systematic approach
improved both my confidence and my ability to solve technical problems independently.
Another valuable part was understanding how Artificial Intelligence can support software
development. I explored tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Studio, Gemini, Ollama,
and Claude Code to learn unfamiliar concepts, review code, generate implementation ideas,
and improve technical documentation. Instead of directly using AI-generated code, I focused
on understanding the logic behind the solution, verifying the implementation, and modifying
it according to project requirements. This approach helped me strengthen both my
programming knowledge and my analytical thinking.
I also explored workflow automation and modern AI technologies. I started learning
automation platforms such as n8n and Zapier to understand how repetitive business processes
can be automated by connecting databases, APIs, CRM systems, cloud services, spreadsheets,
and AI models. Although I am still building my knowledge in this area, I explored concepts
such as triggers, actions, webhooks, scheduling, and event-driven workflows, which gave me
a broader understanding of intelligent business automation. Along with automation, I also
explored emerging AI technologies and concepts including AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems,
Model Context Protocol (MCP), Open claw and AI Voice Agents. At the same time, I
developed the habit of continuously exploring newly released AI tools, coding assistants,
automation platforms, and development frameworks. This encouraged me to keep learning,
experiment with new technologies, compare different approaches, and understand how these
innovations can be applied to real-world business applications.
I can clearly see how much my understanding of software engineering has improved. What
initially appeared to be separate technologies gradually became a connected ecosystem where
frontend development, backend development, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, Artificial
Intelligence, and workflow automation work together to build complete software solutions.
This experience gave me a strong foundation in modern software development, improved my
confidence in working on real-world projects, and motivated me to continue learning new
technologies that will help me build better software solutions in the future.
How I Want to Contribute to the Organization
The experience I gained over the past three months has given me a strong understanding of
modern software development and encouraged me to keep improving my technical
knowledge. While working on projects, that introduces new technologies, different
approaches, and new challenges, making continuous learning an important part of
professional growth. My goal is to build on the knowledge I have gained so far and apply it
effectively while taking on new responsibilities within the organization.
I would like to contribute to both frontend and backend development by working with
technologies such as React, [Link], [Link], [Link], TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and
Supabase. Along with developing new features, I want to improve my understanding of
software architecture, API development, database design, cloud technologies, and system
optimization. I also want to contribute by writing clean and maintainable code, preparing
technical documentation, debugging issues, and improving existing applications whenever
required. Understanding the business requirement before implementation is something I now
consider an important part of software development, and I would like to continue following
this approach in future projects. Another area that interests me is workflow automation. I am
currently learning n8n and Zapier to understand how business processes can be automated by
connecting APIs, databases, AI models, CRM systems, and communication platforms.
Exploring these platforms has helped me understand how automation can reduce repetitive
work, improve productivity, and simplify day-to-day operations. As I continue learning, I
would like to apply these concepts to develop practical automation solutions that improve
business efficiency.
Along with my project work, I regularly spend time exploring new technologies to improve
my technical skills. Instead of limiting myself to a single technology stack, I enjoy learning
new frameworks, development tools, and AI platforms that are shaping modern software
development. I believe this habit helps me adapt more quickly to changing technologies and
prepares me to work with different types of projects in the future. I explored development
tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Studio, Gemini, and Ollama to understand
programming concepts, review code, debug applications, and learn different implementation
approaches. More recently, I have also started exploring technologies such as Claude Code,
Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI Voice Agents, Agentic AI, and other newly released AI
development platforms. Rather than learning these technologies individually, I want to
understand how they can be combined to build intelligent software solutions and improve
software development workflows.
Along with software development, I also had the opportunity to work as a Video Editor,
which allowed me to learn another important skill. During this period, I learn Descript for AI-
powered video editing and also I have a practical experience using DaVinci Resolve and
Adobe Premiere Pro. Through these tools, I know how to make video editing, timeline
management, audio enhancement, subtitle generation, color correction, and content
optimization. Recently, I started exploring Higgsfield AI to understand how Artificial
Intelligence can simplify video production and improve editing workflows. Learning these
tools has helped me understand how AI is transforming creative work, and I am interested in
exploring more AI-powered editing technologies in the future.
Overall, my objective is to keep improving my skills and contribute wherever I can add
value. Whether it is software development, workflow automation, Artificial Intelligence, or
video editing, I am always willing to learn new technologies, adapt to different requirements,
and take ownership of my responsibilities. The past three months have given me a strong
foundation, and I look forward to applying this knowledge while continuing to grow through
practical experience and new learning opportunities.
Conclusion
