How to install Transition Tool (1st method)
● Go to the Documentation folder and follow the ZXP Installer link. Download
and install it.
● Run ZXP Installer and drag & drop the “Transition [Link]” file into the
software area to install it.
● Run Premiere Pro, go to the Windows > Extensions menu and run Transition
Tool.
How to install Transition Tool (2nd method)
● Extract the “Transition [Link]” file to a folder using any archiving software
(WinZip or WinRar).
● If you are on Windows, copy the folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common
Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions.
● If you are on Mac, copy the folder to /Library/Application
Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions.
How to use Transition Tool
● Load an Essential Graphics panel inside Premiere Pro (Window>Essential
Graphics).
● Under the Browse tab you can see the MOGRT elements area. Select the
downloaded MOGRT files that you want to use, and drag & drop them into
this area.
● Select a transition and drag & drop it onto the timeline.
● Place the current time indicator at the frame when you want the transition
to happen and select the transition MOGRT element.
● Click on the 'Rocket' button.
● Drag & drop the sequence from the Source tab to the Footage area inside
the Essential Graphics Edit tab.
● Adjust the transition settings on the Essential Graphics Edit tab.
How to use Transition Tool in Premiere Pro 2025 and higher
● Load a Graphics Templates panel inside Premiere Pro (Window>Graphics
Templates).
● Load a Properties panel (Window>Properties, you can dock it to the
interface for more convenience).
● On the Graphics Templates panel, under the My Templates tab you can see
the MOGRT elements area. Select the downloaded MOGRT files that you
want to use, and drag & drop them into this area.
● Select a transition and drag & drop it onto the timeline.
● Place the current time indicator at the frame when you want the transition
to happen and select the transition MOGRT element.
● Click on the 'Rocket' button.
● Drag & drop the sequence from the Transitions Holders folder into the
Footage area of the Properties panel.
● Adjust the transition settings on the Properties panel.

● Click on the 'Cart' button to explore the vcgmotion transitions and other
templates.
● Click the 'Question' button to access a quick guide on using the tool. You
can also watch the tutorial videos for more details.
● The transitions are designed at a frame rate of 29.97 fps. If your sequence
uses a different timebase, consider enabling the 'Original FPS' checkbox.
This can help address issues where the transition MOGRT element might
miss the exact frame where the transition occurs.
How to customize a transition
● Go to Windows > Essential Graphics and select a transition on the video
track. The Essential Graphics Edit tab would be activated. You can find all
available parameters there.
