yesheeka: Welcome to our story, "A Letter to God." Our tale begins in a small house on the
crest of a low hill, where a farmer named Lencho lives with his family. Let's meet Lencho as
he gazes at his fields of ripe corn.

disha: (Looking at the sky) These cornfields look so

promising this year. If only we get a good rain, the harvest will be bountiful.

yesheeka: That evening, Lencho’s wish came true. Dark clouds began to gather, and soon it
started to rain. Lencho felt exhilarated.

disha: (Raising his hands to the sky) Ah, this is just what we needed! God is indeed merciful.

yesheeka: However, Lencho's happiness was short-lived. The rain turned into a devastating
hailstorm, beating the crops mercilessly. When it finally stopped, Lencho’s fields were
destroyed.

disha: (Holding his head in despair) Everything is ruined. We have no crops left. What will
we do now?

yesheeka: Lencho thought deeply that night and decided to write a letter to God, seeking
help.

disha: (Writing the letter) "God, if you don’t help me, my family and I will go hungry this year.
We need a hundred pesos to resow our fields and survive until the next harvest."

yesheeka: The next morning, Lencho walked to the town and mailed the letter. At the post
office, the delivery guy noticed the unusual address.

janvi: (Laughing) A letter to God! This is a first. I should give this to the post master to see
what we can do for this.

yesheeka: The delivery guy handed the letter to the postmaster and left, who took a serious
interest in it after seeing it.

Aashna: (Becoming serious) It’s a message of faith. This man truly believes that God will
help him. We cannot let his faith falter, we should help this man.
yesheeka: the post master decided he will help lencho and asked the postman to help and
collect money for the farmer

Aashna: (To Postman) We need to gather enough money to keep this man’s faith in God
alive. He believes so strongly.

ashlin: (Collecting money) Alright, I’ll ask around and see what we can gather.

yesheeka: Despite their efforts, they could only collect seventy pesos. The postmaster put
the money in an envelope and addressed it to Lencho. The following Sunday, Lencho
returned to the post office.

disha: (Opening the letter with anticipation) God has answered! (Counts the money and
becomes upset) What is this? Only seventy pesos?

yesheeka: Lencho couldn't believe that God would send him less than he needed because
God can never make mistakes. He then decided to write another letter to God.

disha: (Writing furiously) "God, I asked for a hundred pesos, but only seventy came. Please
send me the rest. But don't send it through the post office. They are a bunch of crooks who
must have taken the money."

yesheeka: Lencho posted the second letter and left. The postman and the postmaster, once
again curious, opened the letter.

ashlin: (Reading the letter) Can you believe this? He thinks we stole some of the money!

Aashna: (Smiling) It’s ironic, isn’t it? His faith in God is so strong that he distrusts everyone
else. We must respect his belief and do what we can to help him again.

yesheeka: And so, the postmaster and his colleagues continued to gather the left money for
lencho, ensuring that his faith in divine help remained unbroken. The story ends here,
leaving us with a reflection on faith, generosity, and the simple yet profound trust one can
have in the unseen.
