Ex- In 38 minutes 38 × 6 = 228° →
Ex- In 38 minutes 38 × 0.5 = 19°

Always remember: When the angle is given and time


Minute hand moves 12 times faster than hour hand. is to be found, minutes should
not be negative. Use the angle as
negative only if minutes come
Angle between hour hand and minute hand: [30H − 11 M] degrees out negative. Do not do this
2 when the value is positive.
Mirror Time = 11:60 − Given Time or 23:60 - Given Time
Water Image* = 18:30 − Given Time or 17:90 - Given Time
