REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ)

RFQ Reference: SSAI-TEX-DEK-CI-001

Date of Issue: August 20, 2026

1. SCOPE OF WORK
This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is for the design, engineering, fabrication, assembly, testing, paint coating,
certification, and packaging of one hundred and eighteen (118) skid-mounted Corrosion Inhibitor Injection
Packages [81, 89]. Each package must be a completely self-contained, ready-to-operate unit requiring only
connection to the client's existing chemical storage line, relief line, drain, and gas lift injection manifold at the site
[12, 81].

Each modular skid package shall integrate:

1. 1. **One (1) Controlled-Volume Double Diaphragm Metering Pump** compliant with API 675 [81, 89].
2. 2. **One (1) High-Efficiency Electric Driver** certified for hazardous-area operation (Ex ec, Zone 2) [80, 89].
3. 3. **One (1) Pressurized Bladder-Type Pulsation Dampener** with ASME U-stamp [89].
4. 4. **One (1) Calibration Pot** (common for the pumps on the skid) [81, 89].
5. 5. **All associated high-pressure piping, valves, instrumentation, support structural steel work, and protective
sunshade/shelter** designed for severe coastal corrosivity (C5) [80, 81, 89].

2. SITE AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS


The equipment will be installed in an onshore-coastal environment [80]. The vendor must design the entire
package to withstand the following parameters:

 **Ambient Air Temperature:** 0 °C to 52 °C [80, 81, 89].


 **Black-Bulb (Solar Radiation) Temperature:** Up to 84 °C [81, 89].
 **Relative Humidity:** 1% to 100% [80, 89].
 **Barometric Pressure:** 0.98 bara to 1.013 bara [81].
 **Atmospheric Classification:** Onshore, coastal, highly corrosive [80].
 **Package Design Life:** Thirty (30) years [89].

3. PUMP TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (API 675)


The dosing pump shall be a positive displacement, controlled-volume double diaphragm type constructed and
certified to the API 675 standard [81, 89]:

 **Service Liquid:** Corrosion Inhibitor (NALCO EMO 128 / CORR11441A) [81, 89].

Specific Gravity: 0.835 @ 15 °C [89].

Viscosity: 3.1 cSt @ 40 °C [89].


Flash Point: 73 °C [81].

 **Operating Temperature Range (Pumping Fluid):** 12 °C to 52 °C [89].


 **Operating Flow Range (Capacity):** 3.0 Liters/day (LPD) minimum to 24.0 LPD maximum [81, 89].
 **Capacity Control:** Manual stroke length adjustment (local) with a verified **10:1 turndown ratio** [81, 89].
 **Operating Pressures:**

Suction Pressure: Atmospheric [89].

Discharge Pressure (Min / Nominal / Max): 41.0 barg / 118.0 barg / 126.0 barg [81, 89].

Maximum Allowable Working Pressure (MAWP): 150 barg @ 52 °C [81].

 **Net Positive Suction Head Available (NPSHa):** 12.33 m (including acceleration head) [89]. The vendor
must demonstrate that the pump's Net Positive Inlet Pressure Required (NPIPr) maintains at least a **1.0 m
safety margin** below NPSHa [89].
 **Plunger Operating Speed:** Strictly limited to **100 stroke cycles per minute (spm)** [89].
 **Nozzle Configuration:**

Suction Nozzle: Bottom orientation, 6000# rating, NPT (F) connection [89].

Discharge Nozzle: Top orientation, 6000# rating, NPT (F) connection [89].

 **Materials of Construction (MOC):**

Liquid End: Dual-certified SS 316 or SS 316L (ASTM A351 Gr. CF8M or CF3M) [89].

Process & Hydraulic Diaphragms: Virgin PTFE (double diaphragm design) [89].

Valve Body & Valve Trim: SS 316 or SS 316L (A351 Gr. CF8M / CF3M) [89].

Internal Seals, Gaskets & Packing: PTFE [89].

External Fasteners (Bolts, Studs, Nuts): SS 316 (A193 Gr. B8M / A194 Gr. B8M) [89].

4. MOTOR TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (Ex ec)


The driver shall be a 3-phase squirrel cage induction motor designed and certified to IEC 60034 and potentially
explosive atmosphere directives [80, 89]:

 **Rated Power Output:** **0.25 kW** [80, 81].


 **Power Supply:** 415 V (±10%), 3-Phase, 50 Hz (±5%), utilizing a solidly earthed neutral and a **Star
winding connection** [80, 89].
 **Starting Method:** Direct-On-Line (DOL) starting [80].
 **Duty Cycle:** Continuous S1 duty [80, 89].
 **Area Classification:** Zone 2, Gas Group IIB, Temperature Class T3, Equipment Protection Level (EPL) Gc
[80].
 **Explosion Protection:** **Ex ec** (non-sparking) [80, 89].
 **Insulation & Temperature Rise:** Class F insulation with a Class B temperature rise limit (80 K) [80, 89].
 **Mounting Arrangement:** Vertical, flange-mounted (**IM V arrangement**) [80, 89].
 **Enclosure and Protection:**

Ingress Protection (IP): Minimum IP56 for both the motor frame and all terminal boxes [80].

Impact Protection: Minimum IK08 [80].


Auxiliary Terminal Boxes: Separate terminal boxes are required for any auxiliary wiring [80].

Stator Frame & Main Terminal Box Material: Rugged ferrous material (cast iron or steel) [80].

External Earth Terminal: Earth bolt required inside the terminal box, plus an external earth terminal on the
frame [80].

 **Cooling Method:** IC4A1A1 self-ventilated utilizing a **steel fan impeller** [80].


 **Heater Requirement:** Anti-condensation heaters are not required for motors under 15 kW [80]. The vendor
must provide written OEM confirmation accepting that heaters are not required to meet the continuous
performance specifications [80].
 **Noise Limit:** Total noise at 1 meter from the source must not exceed **85 dBA** [80, 89].

5. SKID AND AUXILIARY COMPONENT SPECIFICATIONS


All equipment, piping, and accessories must be structurally integrated into a unified skid-mounted baseplate [12]:

 **Pulsation Dampener:**

Type: Pressurized bladder type [89].

Design Standard: Compliant with ASME Section VIII Division 1 and provided with an official U-stamp [89].

Materials: SS 316 or SS 316L body with a PTFE bladder [89].

 **Calibration Pot:**

Type: Graduated calibration cylinder (common suction manifold for the pumps) [81, 89].

Materials: SS 316 or SS 316L [89].

 **Piping and Tubing:**

Materials: Fully certified seamless SS 316 or SS 316L [89].

Valves and Fittings: Rated for high-pressure service (6000# class) [89].

 **Safety Overpressure Protection:**

An external pressure safety/relief valve (PRV) must be installed on the pump discharge piping, set to open at
150 barg [81, 89]. The relief valve outlet must route back to the skid's return interface [81].

 **Skid Base and Shelter:**

Heavy-duty structural carbon steel baseplate complete with integrated lifting lugs and grounding bosses [12].

A structural steel sunshade/shelter must be provided by the vendor to shade the pumps and motors from
direct sunlight [72, 81].

 **Standardized Skid Interface Terminal Points:**

TP1 (C.I. Skid Inlet): 1" 150# RF connection (connected to the client's existing 11.7 m³ horizontal SS316L
storage vessel discharge header) [81].

TP2 (Skid Relief Return): 1" 150# RF connection (routing the 150 barg relief discharge back to the storage
vessel) [81].
TP3 (Skid Drain): 1" 150# RF connection routing drains to the open drain PIT [81].

Package Discharge: 1/2" 6000# connection to the 4" Gas Lift Manifold Slot [81].

6. QUALITY ASSURANCE, COATING, AND TESTING


 **Material Traceability:** The vendor must supply official **EN 10204 Type 3.1 material certificates** for all
wetted pump components (liquid end, diaphragms), wetted pressure-retaining piping, valves, fittings, and
load-bearing structural skid elements [89].
 **Hydrostatic Pressure Testing:** The assembled wetted pump components and high-pressure manifold
piping must undergo hydrostatic testing to **at least 1.5 times the pump's MAWP** [89].
 **Surface Preparation and Painting:**

All carbon steel structural surfaces (skid frame, sunshade shelter) must receive a high-durability surface
preparation and paint system [80].

Specification: Strictly compliant with QP-SPC-L-002 [80, 89].

Corrosivity Category: C5 (Onshore-Coastal Corrosion Protection) [80].

Durability Category: High (H) rating representing a 15 to 25 years maintenance-free life [80].

Final Paint Color: Standard Light Grey RAL 7035 [80].

7. MANDATORY DOCUMENT SUBMISSION WITH BID


The vendor must submit the following drawings, specifications, and data sheets with their technical bid:

6. 1. **General Arrangement (GA) Drawings:** Showing physical dimensions, overall skid footprint, and weights
[16, 89].
7. 2. **Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs):** Outlining the complete hydraulic process and safety
controls [16, 89].
8. 3. **Pump Performance and Calibration Curves** [16, 89].
9. 4. **Motor Characteristic Curves:** Specifically requiring the Speed-Torque, Speed-Current, Speed-Power
Factor, and Speed-Efficiency curves calculated at both 100% Un and 80% Un [80].
10. 5. **Motor Hot/Cold Thermal Withstand Curves** at 100% Un and 80% Un [80].
11. 6. **Completed Technical Datasheets** with all VTA (Vendor to Agree) values filled [80, 89].
