Larisha’s House
(snore sounds)
(unlocking door sound)
(An older girl, in her messy bun and apron, was seen peeking through the gap of the opened
door.)
Mother: rarisha, mada okitenaino ？ chōshoku no yōi ga dekiteruyo.
(Larisha, aren’t you awake yet? Breakfast is ready.)
Larisha: (awaken - rub her eyes and slowly sit up, still looking groggy)
(Larisha walks out of the room and goes to the dining room where her mother was seen
preparing her breakfast and lunch.)
Larisha: ohayō , kāsan
(good morning, mother)
Narration: rarisha ga chōshoku o tabete gakkō no yōi o shiteiru ma ni , betsu no chiku no betsu
no onnanoko mo onaji koto o shiteita .
(While Larisha ate breakfast and prepared for school, another girl from a different neighborhood
was doing the same.)
Lyka’s House
(alarm sound)
Lyka: (turned off the alarm - rub her eyes then immediately got up from bed, opened the curtain
then stretched her arms widely looking so grateful) nante sutekina asadeshō ！
(what a lovely morning!)
(Lyka walks out from her room and saw her father in the dining room (reading a newspaper) with
the breakfast and her bento already prepared.)
Lyka: ohayōgozaimasu , tōsan ！
(good morning, dad!)
Father: ohayo…
(good morning)
Lyka: otōsan , kyō wa taīku no jugyōdayo . ato de mukae ni kitekureru?
(dad, we have gym class today. Can you pick me up later?)
Father: wakatta.
(understood.)
Narration: gozen 8 jideshita . machi wa itaru tokoro de konran ni michiteite , hitobito wa
mokutekichi e mukaō to shiteimashita . kuruma wa jūtai de ugokezu , kemuri no osen de
atatakai kūki ga michiteimashita .
(It was 8 AM. The streets were busy with chaos everywhere—people trying to get to their
destinations, cars stuck in traffic, and warm air filled with smoke pollution.)
(while this was being narrated, the scene will change to the busy streets)
Scene 2: Street
(In the busy streets of one of the towns in Japan, two girls coincidentally met each other in the
streets.)
Lyka: (saw Larisha in front of the pedestrian lane - smiles and runs towards her)
ohayōgozaimasu , rarisha san!
(good morning, larisha!)
Larisha: (saw Lyka then smiles) ohayōgozaimasu . itsumo tōri , ikīki shitemasune .
(good morning. As always, you’re lively.)
(Both saw that two cars (Daniel and Liam) stopped before the pedestrian lane. They crossed
then bowed to the 2 cars after.)
Scene 3: Classroom
(classroom noise)
(Larisha and Lyka enters the room.)
(2 girls are already sitting on their seats (Cheryl and Angelica))
Lyka: (as she enters) minasan , ohayōgozaimasu ！
(everyone, good morning!)
(Lyka and Larisha went to their seats.)
Angelica: ohayō , raika ！ kyūka chū ni firipin e ittatte kītayo .
(good morning, lyka! I heard you went to the Philippines during your vacation.)
Cheryl: ē , sōdane . urayamashisugiruyo .
(Yea, that’s right. I’m so jealous.)
Lyka: (smiles) soko , mechakucha atsui ！ demo mangō wa sugoku oishī .
(It’s so hot there! But the mangoes are so good.)
(Fast footsteps approaching. They look to the direction of the footstep. They saw a disheveled
guy panting from running.)
Daniel: (panting) hotondo okureru tokorodatta ！
(I was almost late!)
Angelica: (judging Daniel) anata , hontōni nan nen mo kawattenaine ！
(you really haven’t changed over the years!)
Daniel: daijōbu ！ suriru ga suki ！
(It’s okay! I like the rush!)
(The teacher enters the room. They all settled down.)
Larisha: (stands up) minasan , rei ！
(everyone, bow!)
(They all stand and bow.)
Liam-sensei: ohayōgozaimasu , minasan ！(smiles and look at everyone)
(good morning, everyone!)
Liam-sensei: kyō wa shonichinanode , jiko shōkai o shiteitadakimasu . 3 made kazoetara , mae
kara hajimarimasu .
(since today is our first day, you will have to introduce yourselves. After I count to 3, it will start
from the front.)
Liam-sensei: na ichi ni san na arigatou (sings and makes cute face)
(Everyone prepares their introduction, make it creative and at least 45 seconds to 1 minute
duration. The sequence is Larisha - Cheryl - Lyka - Daniel - Angelica.)
(After everyone’s introduction)
Liam-sensei: ijō de honjitsu no bun wa owaridesu . minasan ja ne.
(that’s it for today. Everyone, see you later!)
(Lunch time)
(everyone will gather around and bring our their bento boxes.)
Daniel: (saw everyone’s nice lunches while looking at his not-so-good bento) wā , sore oishi
sōdane , rarisha ！
(that looks delicious, larisha!)
Larisha: (looks at Daniel’s lunch) ikutsu ka hoshī ？
(do you want some?)
Daniel: (looks so excited for the offering) hai !
(yes!)
(They shared foods with each other while chatting and laughing with each other.)
(after a while, the bell rings)
Scene 4: After Lunch (Gym Class)
(no tables and chairs)
(bell rings)
(everyone is stretching while waiting for the teacher to enter the gym.)
Liam-sensei: (enters the room) minasan , konnichiha ！
(hello, everyone!)
(everyone settled and stopped what they were doing.)
Liam-sensei: kyō wa jūdō no kihon o manabimasu .
(today, we will learn the basics of judo.)
(Liam-sensei shows basic arms and feet placement of judo. Everyone was copying but it can be
seen that Lyka have a hard time following the steps.)
Lyka: sensei , ashi no ichi ga umaku dekimasen .
(teacher, i can’t do the feet placement.)
Liam-sensei: (teaches it.)
(After a while, Lyka and others got the basics.)
(Everyone is exhausted.)
Liam-sensei: (looks at everyone) tsugi no kaigi de wa , kigaruna kyōsō o shimasu . minasan ja
ne.
(next meeting, we will have a friendly competition. Good bye, everyone.)
Scene 5: Cleaning (outro)
(back in the classroom, everyone is cleaning. Then suddenly, Cheryl saw a sheet of lyrics on the
floor. She picks it up.)
(Multo starts in the background.)
Cheryl: (starts singing while cleaning)
(Everyone in the background start dancing sa chorus (kayo na gawa ng sayaw))
