Q1 introduce yourself

Good morning sir and ma’am. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Sakshi Sinha, and I recently completed my Class 12th from Delhi Public School,
Greater Noida, securing 94.1% in the CBSE board exams. I was born in Jaipur, but it was Delhi
that truly shaped who I am—broadening my perspectives and deepening my understanding of
people, which is where my interest in psychology began.

After Class 10, I wasn’t entirely sure about my core subjects, but I was certain I wanted
psychology in my curriculum. I chose PCB in Class 11 due to my interest in science, but I
always knew I didn’t want to pursue medicine. As I studied science, I became fascinated not
just with how things work biologically, but also socially and economically. I began observing
how decisions are made, how brands evolve, and why different people respond to different
products.

A major influence has been my father—an entrepreneur who left a stable job to build his own
company. Watching him take risks and solve real-world problems sparked my curiosity about
leadership and business. Even though I performed well in school and was encouraged to sit
for NEET, I had already made up my mind. Midway through Class 12, I decided to pursue a
BBA and follow a path that aligns more with my long-term aspirations of innovation,
entrepreneurship, and impact.

Q2 tell me about your family

My family consists of 4 people my dad, my mom and my elder brother. My mother is a

homemaker. My elder brother works in a mnc as a software engineer and my dad was the vice
president of a company but two years ago he left his stable job to start his own business in the
healthcare industry, which became my source of inspiration towards business and
entrepreneurship

Q3 favorite subject/hobbies/interest

Talking about my interests, my hobbies include photography, filmmaking, cooking, and learning
about mental health, mental illness and it’s treatment. I learn about by observing different
people and how they react in different situations and why they react like that etc. and I google
about it or read articles about it or even ask my psychology teacher in class.

Having people in my family having serious mental illness such as autism really makes me want
to learn more about it.
Q4 5 year/3year goal

My 3 year goal would be firstly to grow well academically because after learning science for two
years I’ll get to learn about business so i might need to push myself in that area and score well
academically.

secondly, alongside my academic course I want to gain more knowledge about business and
entrepreneurship through books or workshops. Each year I want to do meaningful internships
that will give me an insight of how the real world works. Be it photography or filmmaking for
different brands or anything meaningful that also aligns with my interest.

thirdly, I will participate in extra curricular activities such as muns that will enhance my public
speaking skills, different photography or filmmaking comp, I’ll also participate in different ngos
and contribute their. And also in college fests, clubs and events

so basically I will focus on my academic development, individual development, my

communication skills, public speaking so that I can become more self-confident till the time I
graduate.

Five year goal:

I also want to study hard for my entrance examination for mba and get into a good college for
my post graduation

Q5 ultimate goal in life/ future plans

My ultimate goal is to become a purpose-driven entrepreneur—someone who builds a business

that not only offers value to customers but also creates a positive social impact. I envision
starting my own venture, possibly in the space where business meets psychology, such as
wellness, creative branding, or people-centric services. After completing my BBA, I plan to gain
real-world experience through internships and eventually pursue an MBA to strengthen my
strategic and leadership skills. I want to lead with innovation, empathy, and resilience—just like
I’ve seen my father do—and contribute to solving real-world problems through creative,
sustainable solutions.

Q6 strength and weakness

Strength: 1. I am an extrovert, so I’m easily able to connect well with people which has also
made me empathetic as a person.

2. if I have prior knowledge, even little bit of knowledge about a topic, I am able to grasp
concepts quickly and process information efficiently. I’m an attentive listener, which helps me
understand and absorb ideas faster than most. Whether it’s in the classroom or during
discussions, I’m able to connect the dots quickly and apply what I learn effectively. This has
helped me a lot to perform well academically.

3. my leadership skills and team management skills, which became more enhance after being
assigned the role of president of editorial board. I was able to solve group conflicts and
complete all the tasks assigned to my team on time.

4, my decision making skills are also good. My ability to shift from a science background to a
commerce background is well appreciated by my teachers and parents, that I was able to make
a mature decision for myself showcases my clarity of what I want to do in life, which lacked
when I was in 10th.

Q7 your leadership roles/initiative taken before/decision making skills with an example/

leadership experience

My leadership experience has been great and I really enjoyed it. There are many instances of it.

1. My role as vice president of editorial board- I was given a task to lead a team of writers,
editors and designers to make an engaging corner for hindi column in our school
magazine, so there was a problem of lack of engagement and fresh ideas for hindi
section because everybody were more engaged in the English section. So me and my
team encouraged students to share their poems, articles and stories on topic that is well
connected with the students ie mental health awareness, I also coordinated with design
and photography team to make the visual images more entertaining and eye catching.
Finally, after the magazine was released we received positive feedback from the students
and faculty members. This experience taught me how to lead with empathy,
communicate clearly and bring out best in the team.

Q8 how will symbiosis help you?

Symbiosis is a name in itself, it carries strong reputation globally, so studying in symbiosis means
being part of a community known for academic excellence and holistic development. It will
open doors for internship opportunities, strong networking connections, wide alumni base that
is active in various sectors. It will also give me credibility in my early career- if I want a job, build
a startup or pursue mba, in short, symbiosis will add more value and confidence to my
individual and professional journey.

Q9 how will you contribute to symbiosis

I believe I can contribute to Symbiosis in multiple ways. Academically, I bring strong dedication
and discipline—as seen in my 94.1% in Class 12—and I’m always eager to participate in class
discussions and collaborative projects. Creatively, I have experience in photography, video
editing, and filmmaking which I’d love to contribute to clubs, student-run events, and media
teams. My leadership experience as President of the Editorial Board shows I can take initiative,
lead teams, and bring fresh ideas. I’m also highly social and outgoing, which helps me connect
with diverse people—perfect for contributing to the inclusive and vibrant campus culture at
Symbiosis.

1. Pollution- which is due to industries, vehicular emission and crop stubble burning in
neighbouring states
Sol- enhance the way of releasing industrial emissions to a more sustainable way,
coordinate with neighbouring states to bring out a more sustainable way of burning
crops stubbles
2. Traffic- due to which a distance to 5km takes 40-45 mins to travel during peak time
crowding, sol- public transport, implement smart traffic management system during
peak hours
3. Water scarcity and pollution- rainwater harvesting, recharge of ground water through
community participation, raising awareness on water conservation and implement
efficient water distribution systems.
