*Topic: Trusting God to Complete His Work in You*
The truth is: God never starts what He cannot finish. If He began the work in you, He is committed to
seeing it through.
*1. GOD IS THE ONE WORKING IN YOU*
*Philippians 1:6* – _“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of
Christ Jesus.”_
God doesn’t abandon projects. The salvation, calling, healing, and character He started in you is not
dependent on your strength alone. It’s His work.
*Application:* Stop striving in fear. Rest in the fact that the Author is also the Finisher.
*2. GOD USES PROCESS TO PERFECT US*
*James 1:2-4* – _“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking
anything.”_
Trials, waiting seasons, and corrections are not punishment. They are God’s tools to shape you.
*Isaiah 64:8* – _“We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”_
*Application:* Trust the process. The pressure is producing maturity.
*3. GOD WILL EMPOWER YOU TO THE END*
*1 Thessalonians 5:23-24* – _“May God himself... sanctify you through and through... The one who calls
you is faithful, and he will do it.”_
God doesn’t call and then leave you. His faithfulness is the guarantee.
*Hebrews 12:2* – _“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.”_
*Application:* Keep your eyes on Jesus, not on how incomplete you feel right now.
*4. HOW DO WE TRUST HIM TO COMPLETE IT?*
1. *Surrender daily* – _Romans 12:1_ Present yourself as a living sacrifice.
2. *Cooperate with Him* – _Philippians 2:12-13_ Work out your salvation, because God is working in
you.
3. *Don’t despise small beginnings* – _Zechariah 4:10_ God rejoices to see the work begin.
4. *Keep confessing His Word* – God watches over His word to perform it _Jeremiah 1:12_
*CONCLUSION / CHARGE*
You are not a mistake. You are not an abandoned project.
*Psalm 138:8* – _“The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me. Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands.”_
Trust Him. He who started it will complete it. The God that began with Abraham, Moses, David and Paul
is still in the business of completing His work.
*Prayer Point:*
Father, I surrender every unfinished area of my life to You. Complete what You started in me. Don’t
leave me halfway. In Jesus name. Amen.
