What is Hyperbole? Worksheet

Hyperbole is exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken


literally. It is an extreme exaggeration used to make a point or create
humor.
Directions: Underline the sentences below that contain hyperbole.
Write (H) for hyperbole. If the sentence does not contain hyperbole,
leave it blank and write (NH) for not hyperbole.
