● EXP Routing by Dabomstew:
○ Arcanine
○ Excadrill

Digital = Fastest way to speedrun this. Physical is slightly slower due to loading times.
● DO NOT run Digital off of your SD card (Loses 20 seconds on the first rival fight alone)

Set date to 20th September 11:45PM

DON’T RUN THIS - RUN SOBBLE save yourself before it's too late :)

All Damage Ranges do NOT include 1/16 Ranges unless noted otherwise!

Before starting: If you are new to this run, please look at the Nessa fight. It is very
complicated and it is very beneficial to have an understanding of how it works in advance.
Looking at some completed runs at Nessa may also help. Good luck =)
Don’t need to mash after ~1:15, when Rose mentions the champion. ~1:20 minute cutscene

● This fight sucks :)
Nessa Fight:
This is one of the most complicated fights you will ever encounter. What makes this fight so bad is that you need
to put your Arcanine in position to one shot Nessa’s Drednaw. There are 3 conditions that need to be set up for this,
listed below.

Attack Setup:
You must be +4 or +6 Attack to take down the Drednaw (2 or 3 X-Attack’s respectively). If you have decent Attack
(x / 15+ / 0+), you only need to go to +4. If you have bad Attack, you need to use a 3rd X-Attack to get to +6.

Speed Setup:
You must be able to outspeed the Drednaw so you can KO it before it can KO you! If you have bad speed: (0+ / 0 -
23 / 0 - 2), then you need to X-Speed. This is reflected in picking up the early stairs X-Speed or not.

Low HP Reversal Setup:

This is the scariest setup. Reversal is the move we will be using to KO the Drednaw. Reversal does more damage
the less HP you have. As a result of this, we need to go into Drednaw on very low HP. Normally, you get to this
target HP while facing the Arrokuda (this is the setup the notes below use), but you can also do the setup on
Goldeen- it is just complicated and only works in some situations (since you level up on Goldeen). If your total HP
stat is 63 - 67, your target HP is 6, if your total HP stat is 68 - 69, your target HP is 7.

The notes below reflect all of the setup mentioned above. If the Setup chart below is
confusing, click this link to learn more!
Don’t worry about these damage tables if you are just using the premade setup table below
