N: What time did school finish?

F: Hello David! Did you have a good day yesterday?


Mch: Well, it wasn’t a usual day yesterday.
F: Why not? Did you finish school early?
Mch: No, not really. There was a dance performance at two o’clock, but we
finished school at half past two like usual.

N: Can you see the tick? Now you listen and tick the box.

N: One. What was the weather like?


F: What happened then?
Mch: The weather was lovely and sunny in the morning. It was beautiful.
F: That sounds nice.
Mch: Yes, it was. But then, a terrible storm came and it rained a lot.

PAUSE 00’05”

N: Two. Where did David go?


F: Oh, I see. So you didn’t go to the park with your friends after school?
Mch: No, we couldn’t, it was too wet!
F: So where did you go? Did you visit your grandparents?
Mch: No, they weren’t home. So I went to the city library.

N: Three. How did he get there?


Mch: Normally I take the bus after school.
F: Yes, I know. But the city library is too far, isn’t it?
Mch: Yes, it is.
F: So how did you get there?
Mch: My mum! She came in her car and we went to the library together.

N: Four. What did he eat for dinner?


F: Oh, that’s nice! Did she bring you some noodles for your dinner?
Mch: Not today. She didn’t go to work because the restaurant was closed.
F: Oh, I see!
Mch: So we went to an Italian restaurant and ordered fresh pizza. It was
delicious!

PAUSE 00’05”

N: Five. What TV show did he watch?


Mch: Did you watch the show on TV last night?
F: The one about space?
Mch: Yes, that one! I love space!
F: Yes, I did! It was fantastic! Did you watch it too?
Mch: No, we had to watch Mum’s favourite cooking show. But I’m going to
watch the one about space tonight. I can’t wait!
