The above subject refers.
The Tertiary Education Service Secretariat acknowledges receipt of your
communication regarding the opening of the second semester scheduled for 03
August 2026, and the observations made concerning the overlap with the closing
date of schools under the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education.
After careful consideration of the prevailing situation, authority is hereby granted
for teacher education colleges to open the second semester on 17 August 2026.
