1.
What lessons have you learned from your interviewee that can help you
in your future venture as an aspiring entrepreneur?
From my interviewee, I learned that becoming a successful entrepreneur requires more than just
having a good business idea. It requires hard work, patience, determination, discipline, proper
planning, and the willingness to learn from experience. My interviewee shared experiences that
helped me understand that running a business can be challenging, especially when dealing with
financial problems, competition, changing customer needs, and unexpected situations. Because
of this, an entrepreneur must be prepared to face difficulties and make wise decisions.
One important lesson I learned is the importance of starting with what you have and making the
most of available resources. An entrepreneur does not always need a large amount of capital to
start. What is more important is knowing how to manage resources properly and having the
determination to grow the business step by step. I also learned that understanding customers is
very important because a business will only succeed if it provides products or services that
people need and value.
Another lesson I learned is the importance of good financial management. An entrepreneur
should know how to budget, control expenses, and separate personal money from business
money. Proper management of finances can help prevent unnecessary losses and allow the
business to continue operating. I also realized that an entrepreneur should be responsible and
honest because trust is important in building good relationships with customers, suppliers, and
other people involved in the business.
Most importantly, I learned that failure should not be considered the end of the journey.
Problems and mistakes are part of becoming an entrepreneur. Instead of being discouraged, an
entrepreneur should use these experiences as opportunities to improve. These lessons can
help me in my future venture because they taught me to be more prepared, practical,
responsible, and determined. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I want to apply these lessons by
carefully planning my business, understanding my target customers, managing my resources
wisely, and continuously improving myself and my business.
2. Which of these lessons made a great impact on you? Why did it have an
impact on you?
The lesson that made the greatest impact on me was the importance of perseverance and not
giving up when facing challenges. This lesson had a strong impact on me because I realized
that success does not happen overnight. Every business experiences difficulties, and there may
be times when an entrepreneur feels tired, discouraged, or uncertain about the future. However,
what makes a successful entrepreneur different is the ability to continue moving forward despite
these challenges.
This lesson also made me reflect on my own experiences as a student. There are times when I
experience stress, pressure, and difficulties with my studies and other responsibilities.
Sometimes, I may feel like giving up when things become overwhelming. However, my
interviewee’s experience reminded me that challenges are part of the process of achieving a
goal. If I learn to be patient and persistent now, I can carry this attitude with me when I
eventually start my own business.
It also made me realize that mistakes and failures can be valuable learning experiences.
Instead of being afraid of making mistakes, I should learn from them and use them to make
better decisions in the future. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I know that I will eventually encounter
problems, but I should not allow these problems to stop me from reaching my goals.
Overall, the interview gave me a more realistic understanding of entrepreneurship. It showed
me that being an entrepreneur is not only about earning money or becoming successful, but
also about having the courage to take risks, being responsible for your decisions, learning
continuously, and staying committed to your goals. The lesson of perseverance had the greatest
impact on me because it reminded me that success comes from continuously trying, learning,
and improving even when the journey becomes difficult. I hope to carry this lesson with me in
my future venture and use it as motivation to become a responsible and successful
entrepreneur.
