I. Rationale

The school is committed to ensuring the safety, welfare, and protection of all learners from
abuse, violence, exploitation, bullying, discrimination, neglect, and other forms of harm. This
contingency plan provides procedures and actions to be taken during incidents involving child
protection concerns.

II. Objectives

1. Protect learners from any form of abuse, violence, and exploitation.

2. Provide immediate and appropriate response to child protection incidents.

3. Ensure timely reporting, intervention, and referral of cases.

4. Maintain a safe and child-friendly learning environment.

5. Strengthen coordination among school personnel, parents, and partner agencies.

III. Child Protection Committee (CPC)

V. Response Procedures

A. During an Incident

1. Ensure the immediate safety of the child.

5. Document the incident using the appropriate reporting form.

B. Reporting and Documentation

1. Accomplish incident report within 24 hours.

2. Maintain confidentiality of all records.

3. Notify parents/guardians as appropriate.

4. Refer cases to proper authorities when necessary.

C. Referral Mechanism
