1. Give two concentric circles with centre O. A line cuts the circle at A, B, C and D

4. If the radius of a sphere is increased by 10 %, then its volume is increased by

7. The sides of a triangle are 11cm, 60cm and 61cm. Find the altitude to the smallest
side.
8. A cone is 8.4cm high and the radius of its base is 2.1 cm. It is melted and recast in
to a sphere . Find the radius of the sphere.
SECTION C
(each question carries 3 mark)
9. If two intersecting chords of a circle makes equal angles with the diameter passing
through their point of intersection, prove that the chords are equal.
10. Construct a frequency polygon for the following frequency distribution.

11. Three girls Reshma, Salma and Mandeep are playing a game by standing on a circle
of radius 5 m drawn in a park. Reshma throws a ball to Salma, Salma to Mandeep,
Mandeep to Reshma. If the distance between Reshma and Salma and between
Salma and Mandeep is 6m each, what is the distance between Reshma and
Mandeep?
12. The surface area of sphere of radius 5cm is five times the curved surface area of the
cone of radius 4cm, find the height and the volume of the cone.

SECTION E
(each question carries 4 mark)
13. Saraladevi has a triangular field with sides 240m,200m,360m, where she grew wheat. In
another triangular field with sides 240m,320m,400m, adjacent to the previous field, she
wanted to grow potatoes in one part and onions in the other part.

1) What is the area of the wheat field? (1m)
