3. Practice Activities
Task Conceptualization: Design a peer review activity for EFL
students.
- Task Objectives: Familiarize students with using wiki for peer
comments.
- Target Students: Upper-secondary; Grades 10 – 12.
- Lesson Requirements: Use the function of wiki in the Moodle
Learning Management System.
- Lesson Focus: Choose a writing focus from the current textbooks
in use, i.e. letter writing or paragraph writing.
- Format: The lesson should be represented in the form of a
lesson plan which consists of the following section: (1) Lesson Objectives,
(2) Lesson Focus, (3) Time Length, (4) Procedure.
Task Implementation: Completed tasks can be implemented or
presented as a showcase in the Moodle learning management system.
Task Evaluation: The following criteria and levels of performance
can be applied to peer evaluate the tasks:
