My thoughts on the beauty of history

My honest thoughts on the day I entered the Museo Iloilo museum, and reflecting on what I saw and
witnessed with my own eyes, many historical artifacts predate the stories of the times when our
ancestors used them during their time here on earth. Upon seeing the artifacts, I first explored the

painting area, where numerous beautiful paintings were displayed, and various forms of artwork and
styles were used to create captivating designs.

After visiting the Museo Iloilo museum, we went to another museum called the National Museum of the
Philippines – Iloilo, which is just a walk away from the Museo Iloilo museum. We went inside and
explored the different rooms, and each unique item has a historical document that was preserved and
kept for others to see and understand its origins. It had more to show us than the previous museum and
kept us interested. And the first one I discovered was a volcanic ash related to the eruption of Mt.
Kanlaon sealed in a glass cage, as I thought volcanic ash is just ash colored gray in a way, but to my
surprise, it has brown or orange, mixed with chemicals, given the surroundings of the mountain
environment, there were even documentation related to the events of the eruption.

Going back, I can say I had fun exploring the scenery, the history, the culture, and more it opened my
view on the history of each pieces has a story to tell and how it develops on the senses. Regarding the
activity we did during our visit, I can safely assume we had a good time exploring the museum. After
reflecting on my thoughts, I have come to love and respect my culture, as throughout the decades it has
given me the opportunities to explore and discover the things that our ancestors gave and the beauty
for the future generations, and the improvements of each day we step forward to the future and a
better tomorrow.

beauty is a central subject of aesthetics and has been considered a supreme value alongside goodness
and truth. Each individual historical artifact tells a story on how it has made and where did it came from,
for a moment of time we can admire the beauty of is splendor and think on how its each of the inspire
of lives to this day
