Your favourite food - Describe it (how to make)
My favourite food is Phở, the most famous and traditional dish of Vietnam. It is not just a bowl
of noodle soup but a symbol of Vietnamese culture and comfort. Phở is made with flat rice
noodles, beef or chicken and a special clear broth that takes many hours to prepare. To make the
broth, we first roast onions and ginger until they are slightly burned to bring out their sweet
aroma. Then we simmer them with beef bones, star anise, cinnamon, and other spices for at least
six hours. The long cooking time makes the broth rich, fragrant and full of flavor. When it is
ready, we pour the hot soup over the noodles and thin slices of raw beef so that the meat cooks
gently in the bowl. Finally, we serve Phở with fresh herbs like basil, coriander, bean sprouts, and
a wedge of lime. Everyone can add chili sauce or hoisin sauce to their own taste. Each spoonful
of Phở is warm, flavorful and deeply satisfying. For me, Phở is more than food - it is a memory
of family mornings, the smell of street stalls, and the pride of Vietnamese cuisine.
3,5. Your favourite place (Which tourist site would you recommend in your town/city?)
The place I love most and always recommend to visitors in my area is Cát Tiên National Park. It
is a wonderful natural reserve located about 150 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City and it is
famous for its rich wildlife and beautiful tropical forest. The park is covered with tall trees, green
grass and small rivers that make the air fresh and cool all year round. When I first visited Cát
Tiên, I was amazed by its peaceful atmosphere and the sound of birds singing everywhere. There
are many exciting things to do there. Visitors can take a boat trip on the Đồng Nai River, walk
through the jungle to see ancient trees, or join a night safari to watch wild animals like deer and
civets. One of the most impressive sights is the giant Tung Tree, which is more than a thousand
years old. The park also has simple homestays where tourists can stay close to nature and enjoy
local food. For me, Cát Tiên National Park is not only a great place for relaxation but also a
lesson about protecting the environment. Every time I go there, I feel calm, happy and proud of
Vietnam’s natural beauty.

One of the most wonderful trips I have ever had was my visit to Đà Lạt, a beautiful city in the
Central Highlands of Vietnam. I went there with my family last summer, and we spent four
unforgettable days exploring its cool weather, peaceful scenery, and colorful flowers. The
journey from my hometown took about six hours by car, but the view along the road was
amazing, with green hills, pine forests, and coffee farms stretching to the horizon. When we
arrived, I immediately felt the difference in the air—it was fresh, cool, and full of the scent of
pine trees. We stayed in a small homestay with a lovely garden full of roses and hydrangeas.
During our trip, we visited famous places like the Valley of Love, the Crazy House, and the Xuan
Huong Lake, where we took many beautiful photos. One of my favorite memories was walking
around the night market, enjoying hot soy milk and grilled corn in the chilly evening. The people
were friendly, and the food was delicious. For me, Đà Lạt was not only a place to relax but also a
place to feel peace, beauty and happiness in every moment.
6/ Compare Vũng Tàu & Nha Trang
Vũng Tàu and Nha Trang are two of the most famous coastal cities in Vietnam, but they are quite
different in atmosphere and style. Vũng Tàu is close to Ho Chi Minh City, so it is a popular
weekend destination for many people who want to escape the busy city life. The beaches in
Vũng Tàu are wide and easy to reach, and the city feels calm and familiar. People often enjoy
walking along the seaside, eating fresh seafood, and visiting landmarks like the Christ the King
statue or the Lighthouse. The food is delicious and affordable, and the city has a relaxed, friendly
mood. Nha Trang, on the other hand, is a bigger and more modern tourist city. Its beach is longer,
the water is clearer, and the sand is softer. Many luxury hotels and restaurants line the coast, and
there are lots of exciting activities such as diving, island tours, and mud baths. Nha Trang is
more international and lively, while Vũng Tàu feels more local and peaceful. Both places are
beautiful, but I prefer Vũng Tàu for a quiet, simple vacation and Nha Trang for a fun, energetic
holiday full of new experiences.
