Situational analysis:

This lesson will be taking place at a private school named ABC Primary School. The school is situated in a middle to
high-income community in central Stellenbosch. The LoLT is English. The home language of the majority of the
learners in the class is thus English. The Classroom sizes are fairly small as there is an average of fourteen learners
in each class. However, there is an adequate amount of space in the classroom for the number of learners in each
class. There is a variety of teaching resources that are accessible and in good working condition. This includes
technology and media such as an overhead projector, computer, and white board.

one. Various statements will be presented in the activity about leaders, in which the learners have to say
whether these statements are true or false whilst providing reasons for their answers.

learners in the class by helping them to better understand the content.
