Throughout this course, you will construct a Scholar Practitioner Project that will require
you to create a quantitative research question, select an appropriate statistical test, use SPSS to
analyze data, and present your findings. The Scholar Practitioner Project will culminate with a
poster presentation that will demonstrate your understanding of data analysis and reporting
research findings.
Each part of the Scholar Practitioner Project represents what is found in research
manuscripts and peer-reviewed journal articles. This project will give you the opportunity to
practice developing your own analysis and presentation of findings.
You began this work in Module 3 and will complete it here in Module 5. The Scholar
Practitioner Project consists of three parts:
Part 1: Research Question and Statistical Test
Part 2: Application of Statistical Analysis
Part 3: Poster Presentation
Note: This completes the five-step research process learned in the previous course.
