VISUAL COMMUNICATION, MEANING, COMPONENTS AND ADVANTAGES

Visual communication is the method by which we convey ideas via pictures,


diagrams, paintings, flowcharts, films, GIFs and other media. It serves as a
powerful tool for enhancing the meaning of conveyed information. People
employ visual elements to express emotions effectively, thereby establishing a
relatable connection with their audience. Additionally, visual communication aids
in clarifying ideas, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the message and is
applicable across diverse audiences.
MEANING OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION
Visual communication is a method used to transmit across ideas and information
using pictures, charts, graphs and films. It is a means of portraying and sharing
thoughts and emotions that may be grasped by the audience
Visual communication utilizes visual aids to enhance the message’s clarity and
impact, making complex information more accessible and engaging, In essence, it
is the use of visual elements to communicate messages clearly and effectively,
fostering better comprehension and connection with the audience.
DESIGN OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION.
Visual communication merges art and storytelling to convey messages that
engage audiences and prompt actions like checks or brand recall. Its strength lies
in its ability to connect emotionally with viewers, often making messages more
impactful than text alone. Designers in visual communication use both traditional
techniques and digital tools to create visuals that captivate. Educate and inform.
They collaborate with product, brand and social media managers to meet
communication objectives efficiently.
COMPONENTS OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION

ever when used alongside verbal communication.

individuals to focus more on discussing and analyzing the presented data.
 Visually appealing content is easy to understand.
 Visual communication goes beyond the saturation threshold of the brain’s
absorption capacity, hence making it highly effective in communication of
complex information in a simpler way.
