1. What is your major or primary area of academic/professional interest?
My major is Computer science; my specialization includes software engineering and
artificial intelligence. I am intrigued by the power of technology to help people and solve
complex issues. The software we create as the power of computers continues to increase is so
full of possibilities that data analysis and task automation are just two facets. I want to engage in
projects that challenge code limits. From designing intuitive user interfaces to developing
intelligent algorithms or architecting sturdy systems – I am always eager and passionate about
utilizing concepts related to computer science in productive uses. I am eager to develop my
programming skills and work alongside talented people to make their ideas come true.
2. Share something from your personal or professional background to help us get to
know you better.
I was raised in Dunsmuir, California, where technology and innovation lead the way.
Hence, I have been interested in computers and software since childhood. I spent countless hours
fiddling with obsolete PCs and mastering Basic programming to write simple code. This initial
contact created a lasting interest in computer science. As a CSU student, I am happily developing
my software engineering and AI skills. I want to use technology so that people can live simpler
and more productive lives. Growing up in a small town taught me that community is important
and that my ambition to change the world stems from there. Yet, despite being in the early stages
of my journey, I am excited for all that is to come from merging my technical skills with a desire
for forward movement.

3. Do you have any experience playing, singing, or writing your music?
I have been closely associated with music since my childhood days. At the age of 7, I
also began playing piano and immediately fell in love with it. I practiced for hours daily,
learning to read sheet music and play by ear. In high school, I picked up a guitar and taught
myself to play by looking up chords and tabs online. I joined a few local bands as a
keyboardist and background vocalist. We played small gigs around town, giving me my first
performing live experiences. Nowadays, I still love to sit at the piano or with my guitar to
play and sing for fun. I have started writing my songs and hope to record some of them soon.
Music provides me with a wonderful creative outlet to express myself.
4. What are your favorite music styles, and who are your favorite artists/composers to
listen to in the USA?
I have eclectic musical tastes ranging from pop and rock to jazz and classical. Some of
my favorite artists include The Beatles, for their incredible songwriting and innovation. Michael
Jackson is another favorite for his unmatched performance ability. I also enjoy classical
composers like Mozart and Beethoven, who created timeless masterpieces that are still moving
today. For more modern styles, I like listening to artists like Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, and
Taylor Swift, who keep pushing pop music in new directions. I also appreciate jazz legends like
Miles Davis and John Coltrane, who revolutionized improvisation and instrumental music. No
matter the genre, I connect most with artists who pour deep emotion into their music and strive
for creative brilliance.
