Task A – Salary Sheet Preparation Using Formulas and
Functions
The following salary sheet of ABC Pvt. Ltd. was prepared in MS Excel using formulas and
functions to automatically calculate allowances, gross amount, provident fund, tax, and net salary
for each employee based on their basic salary and grade.

Task B – Result Sheet Preparation Using Logical Functions
The following result sheet of XYZ College was prepared in MS Excel using logical functions
such as IF, along with formulas for percentage, division, remarks, and rank, to automatically
process and display each student's academic result.

Conclusion
This lab work provided a comprehensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and its wide
range of tools and features. Through the various tasks completed during this lab, a thorough
understanding of formulas, functions, formatting, and data presentation was developed.
In conclusion, this lab work successfully achieved all its stated objectives. The skills gained will
be highly beneficial in academic work, data analysis, and professional use in the future.
