Annual Cultural Fest Proposal

Dear Members

Wishing you all very high spirits with this message. I, being the President
of our Cultural Association, thought of presenting to you this proposal to
organise an Annual Cultural Fest by the end of this year. It would be an
endeavour that might become a significant landmark in our association
with community bonding, and we all would like to celebrate our hidden
talents through this medium.

Objectives of the Cultural Fest

1. Community Bonding: The fest would have been a coming together


event for students, faculty and staff, where people develop collaboration
and shared experiences amongst themselves. With participants in the fest
belonging to diverse educational backgrounds and disciplines, I can
develop a sense of unity and belonging in our very own campus
community..

2. Talent Showcase

The fest would provide scope for individuals and groups to showcase their
artistic and creative skills, be it in dance, music, theatre, painting, crafts,
or culinary arts. This would not only reflect the diversity of talent within
our community but also inspire others to participate in cultural activities.

3. Cultural Exchange

This would encourage cultural awareness and appreciation, thus enriching


the cultural fabric of our institution by including performances and
exhibitions representing various cultures and traditions.

Proposed Highlights of the Fest

- Performing Arts:Dance, music, and theatre performances.

- Art and Craft Exhibition: Showcase of creative works by students.


- Food Stalls: Traditional cuisines representing different cultures.

- Workshops: Art, music, or cultural practice-related interactive sessions. -


Competitions: Talent hunts, quiz contests, and fashion shows, etc.

Implementation Plan 1. Formation of Committees: Create sub-committees


on logistics, marketing, sponsorship, and event coordination to make sure
that the events go smooth. 2. Budget Planning: Prepare a detailed budget
and explore sponsorship opportunities from local businesses or alumni.

3. Timeline: Set a date for the event, keeping sufficient time for
preparation and promotions.

4. Participation Drive: Actively encourage members and the wider student


body to participate in planning and performing.

Benefits to Members and the Institution

- Enhanced teamwork and leadership skills through active involvement in


organising the event.

I strongly feel that this would eventually become an annual feted tradition

reality. Let's make this an eventful celebration that reflects the spirit of our
association and celebrates our shared culture.
