1. An object of 2cm in size is placed 30 cm in front of a concave mirror of a focal length 15 cm. At what
distance from the mirror should a screen be placed in order to obtain a sharp image? what will be
the nature and size of the image formed? Draw a ray diagram to show the formation of the image in

case.
2. Define

(a) Centre of Curvature.

(c) Pole.
(d) Radius of Curvature of a spherical mirror with the help of a labelled diagram.

3. You have 2 lenses A and B of focal length +10m and -10m state the nature and power of the lens.
Find the power of the lenses. Which of the two lenses will from a virtual image and magnified image
of an object placed 8 cm from the lens.

4. Draw a ray diagram showing the path of rays of light when it enters with oblique incidence

5. Explain sign convention for spherical mirror.
