LETTER THREE(project work)
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I am writing to endorse ______’s
application for a course at your university. I have known him for 3 years as an
undergraduate student and, more personally, as a protégé who completed his
project under my guidance.
As a student, __________-was bright, enthusiastic and evinced a keen interest
in learning all the facets of his subjects of study. He took great pains to make

analytical and focused. He was always willing to learn and share his
knowledge with his peers. It was obvious that he is an extremely intelligent,
committed and hard working student.
I had the pleasure of handling 3 subjects i.e. Microwaves & Radars, GIVE
NAMES OF SUBJECTS---L 6.6, and 7.2 (Instrumentation Engineering) during his
stay as a student in the college. His sharp, questioning mind and thirst for
knowledge had led to many interesting discussions in the classroom. It was
apparent that his keen participation in class was amply supported BY
extensive groundwork at home.
This, I am happy to say, enabled him to graduate in the top ten percent of his
class. His GPA is 3.0 ( or above). He has the ability to sift through extraneous
details and retain the essentials. His interpersonal and communication skills
add another dimension to his scholarly aptitude.
When he approached me, it was with pleasure that I agreed to be his project
guide. He had chosen an ambitious project in the field of Digital Signal
Processing. His project titled “Expanded Frequency Analysis to Compute a
Zoom Discrete Fourier Transform over a restricted Frequency Range”, was
primarily concerned with the Rotor Wing Design of the Advanced Light
Helicopter developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, India. What
impressed me were his excellent time management abilities, the manner in
which he effectively managed to interact with his team members, and
complete the project on time, while paying equal attention to his classroom
