ABSTRACT
This study investigates the impact of e-learning facilities on the teaching-learning process of
Business Education in public universities in Ekiti State, with a focus on FUOYE and EKSU. The
research examines the availability of e-learning tools, their influence on teaching and learning
outcomes, and the challenges affecting effective utilization.
A descriptive survey design was adopted, and data were collected from 300 respondents
comprising 40 lecturers and 260 students using structured questionnaires. Data analysis was
conducted using mean and standard deviation to determine the relationship between e-learning
facilities and the teaching-learning process.
Findings revealed that e-learning facilities significantly enhance student engagement,
understanding of course materials, and teaching effectiveness, although challenges such as
inadequate infrastructure, poor internet connectivity, and limited digital literacy impede full
adoption.
The study concludes that effective implementation and utilization of e-learning facilities are
essential for improving Business Education outcomes, and recommends enhanced investment in
digital infrastructure, training, and adoption of emerging technologies such as cloud-based LMS
and simulation tools.
