Grade 1 Culmination Skit Overlay

Skit Title: Compu and the Fun Friends


• Grade Level: Grade 1
• Duration: ~3 minutes
• Number of Characters: 6 students

Characters:
• Compu (The Computer ) – Friendly, proud, and full of ideas.
• Sia (The Study Star ) – Curious and eager to learn.
• Gagan (The Game Champ ) – Playful and bouncy.
• Piya (The Little Artist ) – Creative and dreamy.
• Chinki (The Chatty Caller ) – Warm and talkative.
• Milan (The Music Lover ) – Cheerful and always humming.

Required Props:
• For Compu: A large cardboard cutout of a computer/monitor (worn like a sandwich board or held up), and a
grey/silver outfit.
• For Sia: A book or a cutout of an open book/notebook.
• For Gagan: A toy game controller or a cutout of a joystick.
• For Piya: A paintbrush and a small drawing/painting cutout (e.g., a colourful rainbow or flower).
• For Chinki: A cutout of a video-call screen or a toy phone/tablet.
• For Milan: A cutout of a musical note and, if available, small headphones.
• Special Prop: A large cardboard “screen” frame that Compu can peek through while introducing each friend.

Script & Stage Directions


(Stage Setting: Compu stands in the centre, wearing the computer cutout. Sia, Gagan, Piya, Chinki, and Milan stand in a
line behind Compu, waiting for their turn.)

Compu: (Waving both arms) Hello friends! I am Compu, the Computer!

Compu: (Smiling) I can do many things! Come, meet my friends!

(Compu waves to Sia, who steps forward with the book.)

Sia: (Hugging the book) I am Sia! I study on the computer.

(Sia steps back. Compu waves to Gagan.)

Gagan: (Jumping happily) I am Gagan! I play games on the computer.

(Gagan steps back. Compu waves to Piya.)

Piya: (Showing her drawing) I am Piya! I draw pictures on the computer.

(Piya steps back. Compu waves to Chinki.)


Chinki: (Waving at the screen) I am Chinki! I talk to my grandparents on the computer.

(Chinki steps back. Compu waves to Milan.)

Milan: (Humming happily) I am Milan! I listen to songs on the computer.

(All five friends stand in a line beside Compu.)

Compu: (Spreading arms wide) The computer helps us study, play, draw, talk, and sing!

All Friends Together: (Cheerfully) The computer is our helpful friend!

Compu: (Waving a finger gently) But use it only with elders, and only for a little while!

(All six children join hands and bow together.)

All Characters Together: (Clapping) Thank you! Bye-bye!

(They wave and exit the stage cheerfully.)
