PROBLEM STATEMENT

Many students in India struggle to choose the right career after Class 10, 12,
or university. Marks, family pressure, peer influence, and lack of guidance
often limit their choices. Even university students may be unsure about the
right skills, internships, or job opportunities. Existing platforms often give
generic advice instead of considering each student's interests, abilities,
academic performance, and goals.

PROPOSED SOLUTION

The proposed solution is an AI-powered career guidance platform called


PathForge AI, designed for students from Class 10, Class 12, and university.
Students can provide their academic records through manual marksheet
uploads or verified records from DigiLocker, along with their interest and
aptitude assessment results.
The system analyses academic performance, interests, aptitude, skills,
abilities, education level, and career goals using Artificial Intelligence (AI)
and Machine Learning (ML) to create a personalised career profile for each
student.
Based on this data, the platform provides:
Personalised career recommendations
Suitable courses, colleges, and universities
Required skills and certifications
Career and education roadmap
Skill-gap analysis for university students
Internship and placement guidance
Higher education and competitive exam options
Personalised learning suggestions
Resume generation
A key feature is the AI-powered Career Research Hub, which allows
students to explore any career or specialisation and instantly access
information about eligibility, required skills, education, entrance exams,
colleges, certifications, salary, industry demand, and future prospects.
The platform also includes a Smart Career Mentor AI that interacts with
students and provides personalised answers to their career and education-
