● Education

○ Online learning-b

■ These days, with {{c1::the ever-increasing use of technology}},

online learning {{c2::plays an important part}} in education.
● It is believed that {{c3::this method of learning}} is very
{{c4::beneficial to}} {{c5::students' learning process}};
however, many people think that {{c6::its drawbacks}} are
various.
● This essay will {{c7::shed light on both sides}}
{{c8::of this form}} {{c9::of distance learning. }}
■ On the one hand, {{c10::learning on the Internet}} is
{{c11::advantageous in several ways}}.
● {{c12::First and foremost}}, online learning is
considered {{c13::as a convenient way of learning. }}
○ It {{c14::enables learners to}} {{c15::have flexible
learning hours}}; as a result, they can
{{c16::arrange time and place}} to study at their
convenience.
○ In addition, it is very easy for them to{{c17:: take
overseas courses}} which are {{c18::instructed by
excellent teachers}} {{c19::in prestigious
universities. }}
● {{c20::The second merit is that}} online learning is
{{c21::not only time-saving but also money-saving. }}
○ Because of not having to travel to classes, learners
can {{c22::save a great deal of time}} and
{{c23::transportation costs}}.
○ {{c24::Additionally,}} they can {{c25::take low-
cost }}or {{c26::even free online courses}} because
there is no need to {{c27::rent equipment or
classrooms}}.
● {{c28::Last but not least}}, e-learning allows {{c29::a
large number of learners}} to {{c30::attend a course}}.
○ Online classes are {{c31::easily accessible}} to
{{c32::a wide range of learners}},
{{c33::especially}} they are {{c34::not limited to
the number of students}} like traditional classes.
■ On the other hand, there are {{c35::numerous disadvantages}}
{{c36::of learning on online platforms.}}
● {{c37::The first one is that}} online learning can
{{c38::be harmful to people's health}}.
○ When {{c39::spending too much time going
online}}, learners may {{c40::suffer from health
problems }}such as {{c41::obesity}},
{{c42::shortsightedness}}, etc.
● {{c43::Furthermore}}, it causes {{c44::reduced face-to-
face human interaction}}.
○ In fact, students {{c45::have fewer opportunities}}
to {{c46::discuss topics}} with their classmates and
teachers {{c47::directly}}, which has
{{c48::negative effects on}} their {{c49::soft
skills }}such as {{c50::communication skills}} and
{{c51::teamwork skills}}.
● {{c52::The final demerit is that}} students might
{{c53::find it easy to get distracted}} {{c54::from their
study. }}
○ {{c55::Many of them}} {{c56::tend to surf other
websites }}such as YouTube, Facebook, etc. while
learning, which {{c57::makes them not concentrate
on study}} and {{c58::get bad learning results.}}
■ {{c59::All in all}}, {{c60::it is obvious that}} e-learning is
{{c61::both beneficial and negative}} {{c62::in its own way}}.
● In my opinion, {{c63::its plus points}} {{c64::far exceed}}
{{c65::its bad points}}.
● It is important that learners {{c66::control the time}} they
spend online {{c67::in a proper way to make use of its
benefits}}.
○ Study abroad
■ {{c69::These days}}, there has been{{c70:: an increasing number
of students}} who {{c71::opt to study abroad}}.
● It is believed that {{c72::studying overseas}} {{c73::offers
students}} {{c74::a life-changing opportunity}}; however,
they have to {{c75::face a variety of obstacles }}when
{{c76::taking overseas courses}}.
● This essay will {{c77::examine both sides of this
tendency}}.
■ On the one hand, {{c78::studying abroad}} {{c79::is beneficial to
students}} {{c80::in several ways}}.
● {{c81::First and foremost}}, {{c82::foreign educational
institutions}} {{c83::provide students with better courses}}
{{c84::compared to those}} {{c85::in their homeland}}.
○ {{c86::Obviously}}, students {{c87::are taught by
excellent teachers}} {{c88::from well-known
universities}}, which {{c89::allows them to
acquire}} {{c90::the best skills}}.
○ {{c91::Besides}}, when{{c92:: obtaining an
international qualification}}, students can
{{c93::seek for better job opportunities}} which
{{c94::contribute to a higher standard of living}} in
the future.
● {{c95::Another benefit is that}} students {{c96::are able to
develop independence}}.
○ {{c97::More specifically}}, {{c98::living in another
country}} {{c99::requires students to do everything
on their own}} such as {{c101::doing housework}},
{{c102::managing time}} and money, etc.
○ {{c103::Therefore}}, they will {{c104::become more
mature}} and {{c105::gain more valuable skills}}.
● {{c106::Last but not least}}, students {{c107::have more
chances}} {{c108::to widen their knowledge and
relationships}}.
○ {{c109::To illustrate}}, they can {{c110::build more
new friendships}} and {{c111::explore new
destinations}} in a new country.
■ On the other hand, {{c112::overseas students}} have to
{{c113::encounter plenty of challenges}}.
● {{c114::One of the most obvious drawbacks}} is
that{{c115:: living alone in a strange country}}
{{c116::results in}} {{c117::homesickness}} and
{{c118::culture shock}}.
○ {{c119::Living far away from home }}might
{{c120::make students feel so lonely and
depressed}} that they cannot {{c121::concentrate
on study}}.
○ In addition, they {{c122::find it hard to adapt to a
new culture}}, which {{c123::leaves negative effects
on}} {{c124::their mental and physical health}}.
● {{c125::Language barrier }}is {{c126::another detrimental
side of overseas life}}.
○ {{c127::Mastering a foreign language}} is{{c128:: a
challenging task}}; therefore, many students
{{c129::have difficulty in communicating with
foreigners}}.
● {{c130::The final demerit is that}} studying abroad
{{c131::costs a great deal of money}}.
○ Because {{c132::the high cost of living}} and
{{c133::expensive tuition fees}} {{c134::in a
foreign country}}, many students {{c135::have to
get a part-time job }}after school{{c136:: to earn
more money}}, which {{c137::influences their
academic performance negatively}}.
■ {{c138::All in all}}, {{c139::it is clear that}} {{c140::studying
overseas}} has {{c141::its own merits and demerits}}.
● Although {{c142::drawbacks of learning overseas }}are
various, students should {{c143::learn abroad}} to
{{c144::build a brighter future}}.

○ Live in big city-b

■ C1
● {{c145::It is the fact that}}, there is {{c146::an increasing
number of people}} who {{c147::rush to big cities}} to live
and work while others decide to move to the countryside
nowadays.
○ {{c148::In this essay}}, I {{c149::am going to
discuss the good things and bad things}} we have in
big cities.
● On the one hand, {{c151::living in such a big city}}
{{c152::has a lot of advantages}}.
○ There is {{c153::a big offer}} {{c154::how to spend
free time}}.
■ There are {{c155::a lot of theatres}},
concerts and {{c156::other ways of
entertainment}}.
■ There is always a lot to do and visit!
■ There are {{c157::a lot of possibilities of
shopping}}. In various shopping centres and
galleries, you can buy whatever you want.
○ In addition, there are {{c158::a lot of working
places}} in a city.
■ Many {{c159::big international companies}}
have their locations in the cities, so it
is{{c160:: much easier to find a job in a big
city.}}
● On the other hand, there are {{c161::some disadvantages
of living}} in a big city.
○ Cities {{c162::are very crowded with people}} and
{{c163::plenty of vehicles}} such as buses, cars,
motorbikes and {{c164::so on}}.
■ Traffic jams are {{c165::common seen at
peak hours}}, which{{c166:: not only wastes
time}} but {{c167::annoys people}}.
○ In addition, pollution in cities is another big problem.
■ The air {{c168::is filled with smoke and dirt}}
{{c169::from various kinds of vehicles}}
while there are almost no trees.
■ What we can see here are {{c170::tall
buildings}}.
■ What’s more? {{c171::The noise}} is
{{c172::nonstop from early morning till
midnight}}.
○ {{c173::Crime and unemployment rates }}are also
considered much higher than those in the
countryside.
● {{c174::To sum up}}, there are both benefits and
drawbacks of living in big cities.
○ The decision {{c175::whether to live in big cities
or }}in the countryside {{c176::depends on our
priorities.}}
○ {{c177::Personally}}, I believe that living here is
more beneficial for me as I have a good job in a
foreign company and my children {{c178::can study
in the best school}} in the country.
■ B2
● It is the fact that more and more people are becoming
interested in living in big cities. However, there are both
advantages and disadvantages of living there.
● On the one hand, living in a big city has some certain
benefits. Firstly, people can get good jobs easily as there
are a lot of big companies, factories, as well as services
there. It is the reason why a lot of people rush to big cities to
work. Secondly, there are many kinds of entertainment for
people to enjoy and relax in free time. They can go to the
cinemas, theatres, shopping centres, where they can buy
everything. Life will be boring if we do not have those things.
Finally, education and health care in cities are much better
than in the countryside. Children have chance to learn at
good schools.
● On the other hand, however, there are some disadvantages
of living in a big city. Firstly, it is crowded. There is not
enough space for people to live in. People have to live in
small houses or rent a small flats. Secondly, it is dirty and
noisy. Smoke and dirt from cars, motorbikes and factories is
everywhere while there are almost no trees. This can badly
affect people’s health.
● To sum up, living in big cities has both good and bad things.
If you need a place which is clean, quiet and spacious, then
you should live in the countryside. But if you wish to find
good jobs and better services, big cities are good choice.

○ Stress-d
■ {{c179::In recent years}}, stress {{c180::has become a more
popular problem}} which {{c181::has negative impacts on}}
human's lives.
● {{c182::The objective of this essay}} is to
{{c183::examine consequences of stress}} and
{{c184::recommend several measures to deal with
it}}.
■ There are {{c185::various potential impacts}} of {{c186::being
under pressure}}.
● {{c187::The most obvious effect}} is that it leads to
{{c188::severe health problems}}.
○ To illustrate, people may {{c189::suffer from
mental illnesses}} like {{c190::depression}},
{{c191::anxiety disorders}} as well as
{{c192::physical problems}} such as headache and
tiredness.
■ As a result, they {{c193::lose
concentration on}} doing everything, which
impacts their work and study badly.
● In addition, {{c194::strain}} {{c195::leaves negative
consequences on}} people's behaviors.
○ For instance, it {{c196::results in bad habits}} like
{{c197::drug abuse}} and {{c198::alcohol
addiction}}, which is {{c199::harmful to their
health}}.
■ Moreover, they may {{c200::show violence
and aggression}}, which {{c201::makes them
have negative actions }}and {{c202::form
bad behaviors}}.
● {{c203::Last but not least}}, pressure
{{c204::influences people's relationship negatively}}.
○ Specifically, those who are{{c205:: under
pressure }}do not want to {{c206::interact
with}} others, so they {{c207::drift apart}}.
■ There are {{c208::various measures}} which could {{c209::be
taken to release stress}}.
● {{c210::The first solution to mention is that}} people
get regular {{c211::physical activity}}.
○ For instance, {{c212::participating in}} outdoor
activities such as playing sports, swimming and
jogging {{c213::enables them to refresh their
mind}} after stressful hours at school or work.
● {{c214::Another alternative is that}} people
{{c215::have a balanced diet}}.
○ To be more specific, a diet including {{c216::a good
intake of fruits}} and protein allows them to stay
healthy in order to manage stress.
● {{c217::The final method to escape from pressure}}
is that people {{c218::keep work-life balance}}.
Having a full sleep is a great way to not only
{{c219::boost their energy}} but also {{c220::release
tension}}.
■ In summary, although negative effects of stress are various, there
are {{c221::effective stress management strategies}}.
● It is important that people {{c222::lead a healthy
lifestyle }}to {{c223::overcome stress of a busy life}} in
modern society.
