In AI-Native Products, data isn’t just for reporting — it’s a live feedback loop between how users
behave and how AI systems adapt. At LabX, we don’t see Data Science, Data Engineering, and
Analytics as separate silos. We believe a modern Data Scientist is a Data Architect, Data-Driven
Strategist, and Experiment Designer rolled into one. As a Data Scientist at LabX, you will own how
data flows, gets analyzed, and drives decision-making across AI models and product workflows —
ensuring that every user interaction, model output, and edge-case scenario feeds back into
improving our AI systems.
■ Key Responsibilities
• Define Product & AI KPIs: Design and track key metrics that measure AI performance, user
behavior, and product adoption.
• Architect Data Feedback Loops: Build pipelines connecting product usage data, model outputs,
QA feedback, and evaluation metrics for continuous improvement.
• Design & Analyze Experiments: Conduct A/B tests, prompt experiments, and behavior trials —
derive actionable product and model insights.
• Monitor Model Drift & Performance: Collaborate with reliability engineers to detect drift, measure
model quality, and recommend interventions.
• Create Actionable Dashboards: Develop real-time dashboards for product, engineering, and
leadership to track system health and user experience.
• Automate Data Workflows: Script and maintain ingestion, transformation, and reporting pipelines
using modern orchestration tools.
• Be a Data Strategist for Product Teams: Advise product architects on user trends, feature
optimization, and roadmap priorities based on data.
■ What You Bring
• 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Data Engineering.
• Strong command over Python and SQL — with experience in data wrangling and automation.
• Proficiency with dashboarding tools (Streamlit, Looker, Tableau) and product analytics tools
(PostHog, Heap, GA4).
• Experience with AI/ML workflows — including boosting models (XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost)
and Transformer-based architectures (Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API).
• Strong understanding of A/B testing, experimentation design, and AI evaluation frameworks.
• Product-oriented data mindset — you care deeply about how data impacts product outcomes.
