Ans: computer is an electronic device which can process data
and calculations and operate the information provide by

1: Abacus: was about 5000 years old. Abacus was used to
perform simple arithmetic operations. Abacus can perform
addition, subtraction multiplication, division and can find
square root. Abacus was used to teach students about
arthiemetic operations. Abacus is also called a counting frame
abacus is used for calculations
2: Napier’s bone: A Scottish mathematician john Napier
invented this calculator. It can perform addition, subtraction,
division and multiplication. And Napier bone is operated
manually. It was invented in 1617 and it was used till middle of
70s. it was used commercially. shopkeepers, bookkeepers and
accountants.
3: pascal’s or Pascaline calculator: Pascaline is also called
arithmetic machine. Pascaline was designed by a French
mathematician Blaise pascal. It was invented in the mid of 17th
century. Blaise pascal invented this calculator to help his father
