STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The statement of the problem for the study on the influence of leadership styles in selected IT
companies could outline the gaps or challenges in current leadership practices within the IT
industry. It focuses on understanding the specific leadership styles adapted in those companies
and how they impact organizational cultures, employee performance and the overall success.
The need for this research is to identify the effective leadership approach that contribute to the
sustained growth and competitiveness of selected IT firms.
Research gap for a study on influence of leadership styles in selected it companies with
special reference to Coimbatore:
The IT industry is characterized by rapid technological change, a globalized workforce, and a
strong emphasis on innovation. Given these unique characteristics, it is important to
