Namaste respected Principal Ma'am, honourable teachers and my
dear friends.
We're taught to think of patriotism as something that happens
elsewhere—at a border, in a war, or in the pages of history. But most
of it begins quietly, in the choices we make every day.
HITARTH
It happens every time someone chooses their country over their
convenience—the same choice thousands made before us. Men and
women walked into prison cells, faced bullets, and sacrificed their
lives for a nation they weren't even sure they would live to see free.
ANVI
That spirit of putting something greater than ourselves first also
begins at home. The respect we show our parents, grandparents,
teachers, and elders reflects the values they have passed on to us. In
honouring them, we honour the foundation on which our nation
stands.
HITARTH
With these thoughts in our hearts, it is our honour to welcome our
respected Principal Ma'am, our esteemed teachers, and all the
students present here.
Before we begin, we ask for one thing from this hall—not silence
enforced by a teacher's glance, but stillness that comes from respect.
