一般现在时的疑问句
Present Simple Questions
英语里问问题的时候,单词的顺序非常重要。
最简单的记忆方法是:
QWASI
Q = Question Word(疑问词)
A = Auxiliary(助动词)
S = Subject(主语)
I = Infinitive / 动词原形
所以:
疑问词 + 助动词 + 主语 + 动词原形?
例如:
What do you do?
你做什么?
Where do they live?
他们住在哪里?
1. Yes / No Questions
有些问题我们只需要回答:
Yes(是) 或 No(不是)
这种问题没有疑问词。
例如:
Do you speak English?
你说英语吗?
Does she live here?
她住在这里吗?
回答:
Yes, I do.
Yes, she does.
或者:
No, I don’t.
No, she doesn’t.
2. 一般现在时的助动词
一般现在时的问题里,我们主要使用:
BE → am / is / are
或者:
DO → do / does
我们需要先看看句子里的主要动词是什么。
3. 如果动词是 BE
如果句子的动词是:
am / is / are
我们直接把 am / is / are 放到主语前面。
顺序是:
Question Word + am/is/are + Subject?
例如:
Where is she?
她在哪里?
How are you?
你怎么样?
What is his name?
他叫什么名字?
如果是 Yes/No 问题:
Is she happy?
她开心吗?
Are they students?
他们是学生吗?
4. 如果动词不是 BE
如果主要动词不是 am/is/are,我们需要使用:
DO / DOES
例如:
live
work
like
play
speak
5. DO 和 DOES 怎么选择?
这个非常重要!
DO
跟:
I / You / We / They
一起使用。
Do I...?
Do you...?
Do we...?
Do they...?
例如:
Do you speak English?
你说英语吗?
Where do they live?
他们住在哪里?
DOES
跟:
He / She / It
一起使用。
Does he...?
Does she...?
Does it...?
例如:
Does she live here?
她住这里吗?
Where does he work?
他在哪里工作?
6. DOES 后面的动词不能加 S!
这是一个非常重要的规则。
如果已经用了 does,后面的主要动词必须使用动词原形。
正确:
What does she do? ✅
错误:
What does she does? ❌
正确:
Where does he work? ✅
错误:
Where does he works? ❌
为什么?
因为 does 已经告诉我们这是 he/she/it。
所以后面的动词不需要再加 -s / -es。
记住:
DOES + 动词原形
例如:
Does she like pizza?
Does he play soccer?
Does it work?
不是:
❌
❌
Does she likes
❌
Does he plays
Does it works
7. Question Words 疑问词
这些是我们经常使用的疑问词:
Question Word 中文
Who 谁
Where 哪里
When 什么时候
Why 为什么
What 什么
How 怎么 / 如何
例如:
Who is she?
她是谁?
Where do you live?
你住在哪里?
When do you study?
你什么时候学习?
Why do you like it?
你为什么喜欢它?
What do you want?
你想要什么?
How do you feel?
你感觉怎么样?
8. WHAT + 名词
我们经常把 what + 名词 放在一起使用。
例如:
What time = 几点
What time is it?
现在几点?
What colour = 什么颜色
What colour is your jacket?
你的夹克是什么颜色?
What size = 什么尺寸
What size do you want?
你想要什么尺寸?
What car = 什么车 / 哪辆车
What car does he have?
他有什么车?
所以:
WHAT + NOUN
例如:
what time
what colour
what size
what car
9. HOW + 形容词 / 副词
我们也可以使用:
HOW + adjective/adverb
例如:
How old = 多大年龄
How old are you?
你多大?
How tall = 多高
How tall is he?
他多高?
How big = 多大
How big is her house?
她的房子多大?
How fast = 多快
How fast is your car?
你的车有多快?
How often = 多久一次 / 多经常
How often do you play sports?
你多久运动一次?
最重要的两个公式
如果动词是 BE:
Question Word + AM/IS/ARE + Subject?
Where is she?
How are you?
如果动词不是 BE:
Question Word + DO/DOES + Subject + 动词原形?
Where do you live?
What does she do?
Where does he work?
最后记住这几个规则
I / You / We / They → DO
Do you like it?
He / She / It → DOES
Does she like it?
DOES 后面 → 动词原形
✅
❌
Does she like it?
Does she likes it?
BE → am / is / are
Where is he?
Where are they?
最简单地说:
BE 的问题 → 把 BE 放到前面。
普通动词的问题 → 使用 DO / DOES。
Absolutely! Here is a very simple, kid-friendly English explanation.
PRESENT SIMPLE QUESTIONS
When we ask questions in English, word order is very important.
A simple way to remember the order is:
QWASI
Q = Question Word
A = Auxiliary Verb
S = Subject
I = Infinitive / Base Verb
The basic pattern is:
Question Word + Auxiliary + Subject + Base Verb?
For example:
What do you do?
Where do they live?
1. YES / NO QUESTIONS
Some questions can be answered with:
Yes or No.
These questions do not need a question word.
For example:
Do you speak English?
Does she live here?
Answers:
Yes, I do.
Yes, she does.
Or:
No, I don’t.
No, she doesn’t.
2. THE AUXILIARY VERB
In Present Simple questions, we mainly use:
BE → am / is / are
or
DO → do / does
3. QUESTIONS WITH BE
If the main verb is BE, we put am, is, or are before the subject.
The pattern is:
Question Word + AM / IS / ARE + Subject?
Examples:
Where is she?
How are you?
What is his name?
For Yes/No questions:
Is she happy?
Are they students?
4. QUESTIONS WITH DO / DOES
If the main verb is NOT BE, we use:
DO or DOES
For example:
live
work
like
play
speak
We use DO with:
I / You / We / They
Examples:
Do you speak English?
Where do they live?
We use DOES with:
He / She / It
Examples:
Does she live here?
Where does he work?
5. VERY IMPORTANT: DOES + BASE
VERB
After does, the main verb must be in the base form.
Correct:
What does she do? ✅
Incorrect:
What does she does? ❌
Correct:
Where does he work? ✅
Incorrect:
Where does he works? ❌
Why?
Because does already tells us that we are talking about he, she, or it.
So we don't add -s or -es to the main verb.
Remember:
DOES + BASE VERB
Examples:
Does she like pizza?
Does he play soccer?
Does it work?
NOT:
❌
❌
Does she likes?
❌
Does he plays?
Does it works?
6. QUESTION WORDS
Here are some common question words:
Question Word Meaning
Who asks about a person
Where asks about a place
When asks about a time
Why asks for a reason
What asks about a thing
How asks about the way something
happens
Examples:
Who is she?
Where do you live?
When do you study?
Why do you like it?
What do you want?
How do you feel?
7. WHAT + NOUN
We can put what + a noun together.
For example:
What time = asks about time
What time is it?
What colour = asks about colour
What colour is your jacket?
What size = asks about size
What size do you want?
What car = asks about a car
What car does he have?
Remember:
WHAT + NOUN
what time
what colour
what size
what car
8. HOW + ADJECTIVE / ADVERB
We can also use how + adjective or adverb.
How old
How old are you?
How tall
How tall is he?
How big
How big is her house?
How fast
How fast is your car?
How often
How often do you play sports?
How often asks about how many times we do something.
THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT
PATTERNS
If the verb is BE:
Question Word + AM / IS / ARE + Subject?
Where is she?
How are you?
If the verb is NOT BE:
Question Word + DO / DOES + Subject + Base Verb?
Where do you live?
What does she do?
Where does he work?
EASY RULES TO REMEMBER
I / You / We / They → DO
Do you like pizza?
He / She / It → DOES
Does she like pizza?
DOES + BASE VERB
✅
❌
Does she like it?
Does she likes it?
BE → AM / IS / ARE
Where is he?
Where are they?
The easiest way to remember:
BE question → move BE before the subject.
She is happy.
Is she happy?
Normal verb → use DO or DOES.
She likes pizza.
Does she like pizza?
