I am from Dehradun, a peaceful and education-oriented city in Uttarakhand. I belong to a close-
knit nuclear family where I have always been encouraged to work hard and make independent
decisions. I completed my schooling from [School Name] in Dehradun. During school, I was
interested in Physics and Chemistry, and this gradually developed my interest in engineering.
Currently, I am pursuing [Link] in Petroleum Engineering from [University Name] and I am in
my third year. During my course, I have studied areas such as drilling, reservoirs, petroleum
geology and production. Among these, I find drilling and production particularly interesting
because they help me understand how oil and gas are actually extracted.
I have also worked on an academic project related to oil recovery, where my role was to collect
information, study different factors affecting production and present our findings with my team.
Apart from academics, I enjoy playing cricket and travelling. Cricket has helped me understand
teamwork and how every member has a different responsibility.
In the future, I would like to work in the oil, gas and energy sector. My immediate goal is to gain
practical industry exposure and understand how the concepts I am studying are applied in actual
field operations.
